McDonald's Hornby

We’re followed around by this creepy guy in McDonald’s. My friend told the staff/manager that he was following us around and asked if there was security as we felt unsafe that he was following us around. The manager/staff then told us that we could just go sit in a booth and they’d keep an eye on us to make sure he wasn’t following us. We got our food and proceeded to leave. The creepy guy tried to block our path as we were leaving, demanding us to give him our drinks. My friend very loudly said no. He then followed us to our car as we were running. He told us that running wouldn’t help us. My friend told another customer to get security and we were getting into the car and he once again said security wouldn’t help us. He then proceeded to try each car handle of the cars around us. We drove off and he continued to follow our car and chase our car across the street yelling stuff and doing weird hand movements. He then kept trying to open cars that were very clearly not his. The most helpful person in this scary and dangerous situation was a bystander male customer who told the creepy guy off when he was at our car. The staff did absolutely nothing to try and help us when he chased us especially after we told them our safety concerns. We had to call the police since the staff clearly weren’t phased by this harassment we went through. Staff continued to let the creepy man sit in the McDonald’s after they saw the incident with us, potentially letting it happen to another group of girls or a girl by herself.

Great food, no service. had to wait 22min, through the drive through. Pretty poor service. Only hire staff that can speak and understand english would help too.nUBER Eats, gets priority. Do not go here. GO STRIGHT TO ROLLESTON McDonald's, their store has a great franchise owner. Fantastic service.AVOID THE CURRENT OWNER OF HORNBY STORE. As at 2024. Management starts with the owner. How to take a good business and ruin it.

Me and a group of friends went into this McDonald’s to get a drink. A guy followed us around the whole McDonald’s multiple times and when our order was ready we told the workers what had happened and if there was security and they said no we will be fine. They did absolutely nothing for our safety as we disclosed that we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. As we were leaving the guy came up to us and told us to give him our drinks and we said no loud enough that the workers could hear us, he then followed us out to our car and harassed us and then tried to open multiple other car doors. We came back and the guy was back in McDonald’s and there was so sign he had been told to leave or anything had happened as a consequence of the harassment we dealt with. This is unprofessional and not good enough in a situation like this where there was danger to there customers. We tried to call MULTIPLE times and went to voice mail everytime, not good enough from a company like McDonald’s!!!!!

Yeah, always, medium same as small size, large as well, probably just go small next time.

I always enjoy my early morning coffee here. Friendly staff. Nice clean restaurant. I also enjoy reading the reviews of fast food places as 90% of are from people leaving negative comments in the hope of getting a free meal next time.
