I had no problems with my reservations done online. Veh were ready for me on 2 occasions. Do note there are 2 places to collect, Building opposite Domestic Terminal - see  last pic and the other at arrival hall at International Terminal.nThe staff told me that when you list the arrival flight in your booking they will assign the veh either at DOM or INT.nThe pickup instructions could be clearer though.

I rented a fully insured car through Hertz Auckland end of February. We returned the car in perfect condition as we got it. After 3 months of chasing Hertz, they still did not pay my deposit back. They’re unwilling to look for alternative solutions to reimburse the deposit. I expected a more professional approach from such a big company.

Hertz Auckland airport was so busy. but well done the team as they kept calm and managed well. My only siggestion is that it would be helpful to have an extra staff member there over the busy times. Thanks Marc

Most disgusting service.  Waited more than two hours to get our car.  Only one  person on the desk on a super busy Saturday, who was clearly incompetent.  As gold members it should have been a quick in and out.  I finally questioned one of the car groomers who came to drop off a key as I could see our envelope with our name on it sitting there. Well I did have two hours plus to stare at it. He was good enough to hand it over sensing not only our, but everyone else’s frustration. I also felt extremely sorry for the people who had small children.  Simply awful start to our holiday. No other rental car  companies around us appeared to have these issues.  Disgusted and won’t be back.
