I have to say these guys were great. Good car, good value. There was a challenge with the inter island ferry, but they did get it sorted. At no point did they drop the issue, and kept in good contact. Excellent customer service. I would recommend Apex everytime. Well done all around.

Booked through a third party, and that third party was stupid... but Apex themselves were fantastic. Had to change the pick-up time by 2 hours, and there was no problem the third party wanted us to cancel the booking, which would incur a fee, and re-book, which would be more expensive. The shuttle bus drivers from/to the airport were friendly, chatty and helpful with our luggage: it made the short drive fly by.nThe young lady sorting out our booking was very helpful, and since we were visiting New Zealand for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, with bike in tow, she offered a larger car to us which we took!nEverything went smoothly. The only mild annoyance was the walk from the airport terminal to the shuttle bus, but that's the airport's fault, not Apex. Would definitely use Apex again.nThanks for a good experience!

I usually rent my cars directly at the airport, but this was my first time using Apex and taking a shuttle bus outside the airport to pick up my rental. I must say, I was very impressed with the service and the condition of the car. I was even offered the option to upgrade to a hybrid, which turned out to be a great choice for saving on petrol. Overall, I’m very pleased with both the car and the service.

I’ll definitely use them again when travelling. First plus is that you can earn points with Air New Zealand. Next, the shuttle from the airport was very convenient. Most importantly, the staff were very helpful. When we discovered the car I had booked was going to be too small for us and our luggage, the friendly staff got right onto organising an upgrade, which ultimately made our trip much more comfortable. The only downside I could think of is that there is quite a hike from the drop off at the airport to our terminal, so we were cutting it close to check in on time. Overall a great experience, Thank you to the staff here for helping us have a great trip in the north island!
