Smooth & easy rental company for our North Island vacation! Easy to book online. Arrived at the Auckland airport after a long red eye. They had shuttles waiting to bring us to their location. Quick 10 min shuttle drive from airport to their office. Everything went super smooth & within 10 mins we were getting our car! Car was clean upon receiving & seemed well taken care of for a rental.nnAfter driving around the entire North Island for 2 weeks - we dropped it back off. Also a smooth transaction. They did a quick walk around car & packed our suitcases in the shuttle for the ride back to airport. The man driving the shuttle was SO nice, funny & helpful. Asked us all about our vacation & was a true gem!

Apex rentals served their purpose.nEasy booking. Customer service with Pick up and drop off straight forward. Pleased with the pricing and the car was what anyone would expect when hiring a vehicle... Late model well groomed and mechanical sound. Top notch service.nI would definitely use them again!

Easy booking, pick up after hours and drop off plus they were very responsive when we needed to change our ferry tickets.  We did a one way booking Queenstown to Auckland for an almost 4 week rental and they offered a great price vs others.  Do check them out.nnThe car had a few too many dings on it imo but they were well documented.nnI would happily rent from them again.

Updates:nThe next morning, I was able to get in touch with the supervisor. Apex paid for my Uber rides and upgraded the rental vehicle.nnI received an email with instructions to let the company know I have arrived at the off-site shuttle pick up area, which I did before the office closed. Then I waited for 40 minutes, it's now past 7pm, no shuttle showed up. No communication what so ever.

Very impressed with service at Apex. The online booking was clear with very fair less expensive than bigger names pricing and convenient offerings, like including ferry transfer and allowing for pickup and return in two locations. And once we arrived in Aukland, the shuttle was quick and efficient. The customer service rep who helped us check in and get our car was very kind, friendly and went above and beyond to find us a vehicle that suited a specific need. The vehicle reliably transported us throughout the country and we were very happy. Also, drop off in Christchurch was seamless. I would love to use Apex on my next trip to NZ!
