If it wasn’t for one of the staff working here the female one, I would’ve given this rental place a 1 star and even that’s pushing it.nPickup from the airport was delayed.nWhen we got there, the person at the desk seemed like the manager was rude. We came up to the desk, no introduction, didn’t say a word and I had to start the conversation with “what do you need from us”. One thing about me, if you’re going to be rude, I will do the same. When we were showed the car, the seats were a mess, completely dirty with all sorts of spillage.n3 hours into driving, we got a puncture. That was fine as it can happen with any cars not just hire cars. But what I found dodgy was the fact that they had a little A5 card in the glove box that showed all the lights that could come up on the dashboard if there was a problem with the car but in the end it said somewhat in the lines of “don’t worry about these lights, just keep driving”. That was very concerning as they were willing to put our safety in danger!nSecond of all, the car came with a small chip on the drivers side. Luckily the woman staff who worked there noted this on the photos upload section of the rental when we got the car - therefore was clearly noted it wasn’t done by us!nBut when we came to return the car - another Asian man took the keys from us, didn’t clearly walk around the car and as soon as he sat down in front of his desk - the first thing he said was “do you know about this chip? Do you have any photo proofs of this” intending to blame us for this and keep our deposit!! I showed him the photos and what his female colleague had taken a note of regarding the chip and he had nothing to say. Couldn’t even look me in the eye.nnThey are dishonest, or maybe just a few of them. I admire the female worker working there. She was helpful and kind.nnI wouldn’t use this rental again.

Best value car rentals in NZ. Cars have a few km on them but are always in tidy condition and retail price is a fraction of the big rental firms. Pick-up is off-airport but the company  is a free shuttle that will pick you up and return you to the terminal.nI rent here 2-3 times a year and will keep coming back.

This place is great! The shuttle to and from the airport is easy and fast. The car was a perfect little hybrid vehicle that had zero issues. Everyone that worked there were super friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental company.  Having booked for an 11am pick up which I had assumed was simply the time I could collect ‘from’, I arrived at the rental office at 1:30pm, following having to wait for their shuttle which took 30minutes. I even called the office in the time waiting to let them know I’d landed and that I was waiting for the shuttle. On then arriving at the office I was told that they had cancelled my booking and given my car away as I had arrived after their designated 2 hour window. I communicated that so had called from the airport but they explained that cancellation was made by their head office for a no-show. Stood at the counter, with a pregnant wife, I was then told by their service assistant ‘if you snooze you lose’. I’m literally speechless. Now stranded in Auckland with said wife and no car. No acknowledgement that I had phoned from the airport to request a pick up within their two hour window which they seem to use to suit their own needs. My advice, pay more and use a more reputable company - worst customer service experience I’ve probably ever had. Absolute disbelief. The said upgrade was for a far older car and at a higher price. The second ‘option’ offer had two significant chips in the windscreen that were beginning to turn into cracks - yet they seemed happy for this car to be on the road. Thankfully a more reputable company managed to help us.

Best service I've had. Staff Saeed was not only very helpful and informative, but goes the extra mile to get us well settled in. Cars are reasonably priced as well. I've had my car extension approved almost immediately once requested, and Saeed patiently guiding us through the process and the options that we had.nnHighly recommended if you're dropping by to Christchurch for a holiday.
