Unbeatable location right on the beachfront with incredible coastal views over the water.nnThe amenities are well maintained and super convenient for campervan travel with on-site fresh water fill points and dump station facilities. Having the bathrooms securely locked from the general public gave us great reassurance and peace of mind. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.nnFor the larger rigs, navigating the park can be a bit of a tight squeeze when you first pull in, so having a spotter guide you into your bay makes parking easier. Once you're in, the layout is good to go. Our site easily accommodated a 7m long, 2m wide, and 3m high Euro Tourer with zero worries about neighbouring sites or overhead tree canopies. The level gravel pad keeps things clean, and having your own grassy side berth to sit outside and relax on is a great touch.nnPlenty of great sites to choose from, plus some good looking cabins on offer as well.nnWe'd stay again in a heartbeat!
Awesome! Absolutely loved our two night stay here and it was so worth paying the bit extra for a sight overlooking the beach!nnThe staff could not have been more helpful. It's a short walk into Takapuna itself and they do delicious ice cream at the restaurant just as you turn left towards the site.nnThe amenities are in need of some TLC but the showers were nice and hot and good pressure.nnWould definitely recommend!!
Love this place. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I stayed twice!! My view was overlooking the sea and it was absolutely amazing. So calming as get to cook and feel the breeze of the ocean… Thank you for the hospitality.
This was a great find after our booked site turned out to be emergency housing.nYou can't fault the spot or price. Yes it could do with some sprucing up, but where else would you find waterside accommodation under $100 for a powered site.nLady at the desk was very helpful and facilities were clean. Kitchen, toilets and laundry two washers two dryers- all were out of ordernWe were in a motorhome with 4 adults. Our site had ample room for table and chairs. We got a jumbo site.nWalking distance to Woolworths 20mins and a range of restaurants in under 10mins with one on site.nI couldn't see any park/play equipment for the kids.nGreat spot for the budget traveller.
Was nice but we didn't get given the password for the toilets or the WiFi.nBy the time we realised the office was closed. This left me waiting ages to get into the rest rooms. The room itself was clean, bright and functional. The fan/heater was great but seemed to not turn off. We just unplugged it and it was fine. The beach was so close and had such beautiful views.nMost of the issues could have been because of how busy it was because of events.
