Let’s start with the good stuff. The staff are very friendly and helpful.nI had a number of issues and in all cases the staff sorted them out. However, having said that if management was paying closer attention they may have less issues to deal with.nThere is no compendium or information booklet in the rooms. The conflict blind between the bathroom and release bedroom is not installed so when someone uses the bathroom at night it lights up the bedroom. What is There were no clothes hangers in the rooms. The TV is a bit tricky but an easy fix. If they had an information booklet that would cut down on the calls for assistance.nThere was no suitcase caddy in both rooms. On one service a full set of towels were not left. The clothes washer and ice machine were broken for the 4-days there. The staff did arrange to use the washer at the hotel next door. They were making ice in ice trays but not able to have enough supply for their guests.nThe location is good and priced reasonably for a 3 star property.nIf you plan a stay here just be warned you may encounter some of the same issues.
I enjoyed the room and it is spacious. We arrived there last December to celebrate the new year. I arrived to the hotel and did not get an extra bed when I ordered one. The receptionists assured I would get one as housekeeping will be coming. I waited an hour and more just for the bed to arrive, when I called the lobby, the rude receptionist said rudely, “Patience sir, they are on a break.” That response took me by surprise. Anyhow, that was the only issue at the hotel.
Adequate place to stay. Room had plenty of space. Bit difficult to sit and watch the TV as the chairs were a bit crammed in and slightly weird angles. Bathroom was very spacious but had a frosted glass panel to one room. Made it difficult if you had to turn on the light whilst the other person was in bed. Shower pressure was excellent but the drain made very loud gurgling everytime the water ran. The curtains in the rooms didn't reach the edge of the window so light would stream in. The car park is very tight to get in and out of but very secure. We paid for the full breakfast and it wasn't fantastic. The cooked items were lukewarm, the meat and cheeses were quite dried up. Overall a safe secure place but not amazing.
I had an amazing stay at the VR Queen Street Hotel ans Suites. My room was large with a kitchen setup that came fully equipped. The cleanliness of the room was fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the king-size bed.nnThe room was not only properly arranged but also spacious. The large television with free movies on installed apps was a nice touch.nnWaking up to the view of the street outside, my room was a pleasant experience.nnOverall, my stay was comfortable and peaceful. This hotel has become my go-to place for vacations. It truly feels like a home away from home due to its comfort and coziness.
I would give 0 star for service after 3 nights stay. An Indian lady who working at lobby snatched keycard from my hand without any permission in 2rd Nov 2024. I was totally shocked and feel insulted by this lady. If your staff doesn’t understand how respect your guest, please take hotel management course as advised. I will not accommodate this hotel.
