I've come to the end of my trip and this accomodation has been the best one I've stayed in throughout my trip and I've stayed in a few.nThe rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms and showers.nThe kitchen is big and spacious, enough space for multiple people to cook and not be in each others space.nThe vibe is amazing, the staff are helpful and friendly.nClose to lots of cool things to do or just walk around.nAbsolutely amazing and I would definitely stay here again.
The place, rooms and amentities are a bit on the worn side, but it was my favourite place to stay during my entire month travelling around NZ. Small and very personal, which makes it easy to meet and chat with other travellers unlike the larger hostels. You have everything you need to do your own cooking, near a supermarket, and Ponsonby is a lovely part of Auckland. Will definitely stay here again.
Really lovely chill environment. Set right up against the park, the crickets drown out the sounds of the city. Right across the street from all the trendy cafes, bars and restaurants. Really a nice little gem they got here
I truly recommend this place!nIt's the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It was such a pleasure to be here—the staff were incredibly helpful and positive. A very enjoyable experience. You should definitely try it!
Between Ponsonby and K-Road, 15 minutes from CBD by bus or 30 minutes walking, Verandahs Parkside Lodge is an enjoyable place to stay, long or short-term.nI highly recommend this hostel for the lovely staff, the comfortable beds, the equipped kitchen, the cozy lounge and the perfect location.nPlus the warm atmosphere really facilitates meetings, talks and even friendships between guests !nThank you to all the team of Verandahs for this awesome stay !
