Recently undergone a renovation of rooms and social areas. A great hotel stay!nnThe staff here are FANTASTIC! Nothing was too difficult for the different guests we had arrive at different times with different room bookings. The chauffer held bags in a secure locked room without any fuss and/or confusion at a fully booked hotel - a great experience.nnAll of the feedback was great, rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. The bar has a great range of panhead beers on tap, the cocktails were great, and the social area specious for a romantic drink or even a group nightcap.nnThe breakfast buffet lived up to everything you expect from hotel buffet and customisation requests can be made with the friendly chef and waitresses for any dietary requirements.
Great stay - would stay again!nNice, comfortable room and spacious even the bathroomnClean room and comfortable twin beds.nOnly thing missing was a spare phone charger at reception, so don't forget yours!
I have stayed here at least 5 times in the Club lounge too but this time round wasn't great. I always book the club Lounge for a weekend away for my partner birthday a nice simple perk while staying here. It was nice to see the upgrade in the hotel the new Ember looks good and modern and a lil change up in the buffet breakfast area. It was weird to see a bar has been put in at the entry next to the ember as there is one on the next level not far just up the escalator. On arrival i was ask to leave a credit card on the account and was denied to give cash as i have always done when i book here great to see the deposit was only $50 that was big change but i will take it. The rooms are so outdated and need a revamp especially for a club room which is very expensive. The aircon made you sick as there was no way to turn it off medium temp was cold and warm temp was hot no in between. The club lounge was simple not wow but we made the most of it my partner loved his beer so that and the sports channel was perfect for him . The staff there was great lovely man who took care of us very pleasant tbh he was the best staff in the whole complex he always gives us good service. A lot of renovations need to be done in this hotel especially level 12 the club lounge level needs a new paint job as the walls were peeling and patchy areas and very obvious too room 1232 window handle needs to be replaced feel like they going to break when you open and close the doors a lot of attention to detail is needed. TBH the club lounge prices is a rip off there’s nothing luxury about it. Level 12 is very old and rundown I pay good money I expect good quality and that ain’t it. It was nice to see the room necessities were upgraded hand wash, moisturiser dispenser and shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser a big win. Also they took away the extra blanket in the wardrobe incase you got cold overnight. I think my time is done with this hotel and in future I will be staying elsewhere I always look forward coming to Auckland for my partner birthday get away and grand millennium is no longer our spot..
Staff at check in very helpful, informative and welcoming. Lobby was beautiful and elegant. Room was beautiful and clean bed was so comfy! Really nice view of the city, 5 -8 minute walks to multiple places to eat. Private parking is worth the fee.nGreat quality for great value
I really enjoyed my stay, room and bathroom were spotless. Staff very helpful and the breakfast ....well...so many food choices and delicious.
