Positivesn- Fantastic viewsn- Good bar/restaurantn- Good housekeeping and fast enough room service in relatively plush rooms.n- Nice pool area.n- Nice casual lounge that you can relax in, read etc between service times if you want to escape your room.n- Some of the more expensive rooms have balconies.n- great inner city location, easy walk to train stations.nnNegativesn- Ongoing lift renovation that seems never finished equals long waitsn- No minibarn- Rooms are a little dated and could probably utilize the space slightly better.n- No power points at one side of the bed.n- Poor expectation management re early check-in. It doesn’t seem to exist, even as a paid option. Which is fine, but don’t string people along with the possibility of a call that you might be able to check in early at then call past 3pm. I’d rather know upfront so I can make alternative arrangements.n- The lounge breakfast is almost too self serve and it seems they don’t tend to it between the time they set it up and the time they pack up. As a result when we got there at 10 when they advise breakfast to 11 on weekends there were used plates everywhere, no knives, a broken coffee machine, fruit flies buzzing around the fruit and congealed eggs all over the egg spoon. Pretty gross all considered.
The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go. I couldn't believe how easy it was to get to everything. The breakfast was a surprisingly good value. Rooms were well appointed and clean. The only reason I wouldn't give the hotel a higher score was because of the elevators. It is absurd that a hotel of this quality and price can't fix their elevator problem. There was only half a day of our five night stay when all three elevators were working. If you are in a hurry you better make sure to leave early. Otherwise, we had a great stay.
Fantastic location, right in heart of the city. Great rooms. Check in was delayed and no drink vouchers were offered one lift wasn’t working either, but the room quality made up for it.nGreat breakfast options and delicious dinner too.
Stayed two nights at Swissotel Sydney and stopped by the hotel bar one evening after dinner to catch up with a friend. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing, perfect for chatting over drinks.nnStaff were friendly and welcoming, especially Alexandra, who was incredibly sweet and attentive. She really made us feel well looked after.nnWould definitely come back.
This hotel is well located in Sydney CBD. It’s easy to access everything, shopping , eat , and coffee. My partner and I came for anniversary celebrations. The room is five stars we love it. We had our welcome drink at lobby bar and the waitress Alexandra from Peru is so friendly and professional. We highly recommend this hotel . We definitely come back again
