Meriton suites is simply the BEST hotel I stayed in so far!! We arrived in Sydney in the morning after a red eye flight. When we went to the hotel to put down our luggage , we were pleased that we were able to check in in the morning although the scheduled check in time was 3 o’clock. We were happy to have a place to rest after our flight.nWhen we went into our room we were impressed by the layout of the room. The kitchen provided us essential kitchen appliances.Although we did not have pans in the kitchen , the staff were happy to help us and offered us a rice cooker too. The beds really soft and provided us all the comfort we needed.In one of the rooms , there was even a en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. There was a balcony with a dining table that had a FANTASTIC view of the city especially when we were on the 53rd level. There was also a convenient food corner with Asian food stalls .nWe stayed there for 4 nights and greatly enjoyed our time there.
Expected far better for money paid! Nice rooms but service not upto scratch ..had to request towels & sugar 3 times on one particular day. Arrived Saturday here 8 days Dry Cleaning only offered 1 day the Monday. Room has only been cleaned once in 6 days so far. Kitchen hasn’t adequate equipment - no frying pans/woks & no small pans only 2 very large pans.
The place is nice but the units are not very comfortable. Due to the location is a bit noisy but I am on holiday so I don’t care . The service was not the greatest except for maintenance people. The front desk people is not very helpful and honestly a bit rude when I asked to give me a second key since we were two people. The elevators are always congested, the gym was nice but the hot tub was very unclean; there was a blop of fat and hair cooking and floating in the middle of the tub. Not very pleasant .
This was the best 2 bedroom apartment that we have ever stayed at in Sydney. The view from our apartment was incredible, the rooms were so big and the facilities were great. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Great central location with everything within walking distance. The staff were friendly, and on-site parking was convenient. Housekeeping was a bit slow due to the busy season, but overall a pleasant stay!
