The hotel is lovely, with a fantastic location, excellent amenities, an elegant interior, and exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. However, there are a few points to note:nnFor guests with lounge access, the breakfast offering was somewhat underwhelming. While I appreciate that the coffee machines are limited to a single type of milk, the alternative provided for almond milk — a cup of cold milk with an espresso poured over it — was less than ideal, resulting in a lukewarm coffee. It would be worthwhile to consider a better solution for guests requiring alternative milk options.nnOtherwise, the evening cocktail hour in the lounge was lovely, with nice offerings.
From the moment we arrived at Hilton Sydney, we were treated to top-notch service and luxurious accommodations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and had a stunning view of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning!nnThe amenities at the hotel are outstanding – the fitness center is fully equipped, and the indoor pool is perfect for a relaxing swim. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the restaurant, with a wide variety of options to choose from, all fresh and delicious.nnThe location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shopping, dining, and attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.nnI highly recommend Hilton Sydney for anyone looking for a luxury stay with excellent service, comfort, and convenience. Can’t wait to return!
A fabulous experience overall. Right in the centre of the city opposite QVB. Slightly older and very busy but great rooms. I was upgraded to floor 40. Fantastic views. Unfortunately my TV was playing up so that was frustrating but the staff were awesome and made sure I was looked after. The beautiful staff make this business. I'm in adoration of how they handled lots of customers and think they all deserve a pay rise. Without them it would have been a very different experience. So please look after them !!!!nnRoom service was great and the Mare bar was fantastic!
Ongoing Service Failures – Unacceptable Response from Hilton SydneynnAs a Hilton Honors member for over 10 years, I’ve come to expect a certain standard of service from the Hilton brand. However, my recent experiences with Hilton Sydney have been both disappointing and frustrating.nnI made special honeymoon arrangements for my daughter’s recent stay, including a congratulatory message and a gift upon arrival. These were confirmed three times prior to her check-in. Despite this, nothing was provided. Sadly, this was not the first occurrence—similar promises were made and ignored during my son’s stay on December 3, 2023.nnI followed up multiple times: via the Hilton app and in person with the duty manager on May 20, 2025. I received no communication for several days. Eventually, I was contacted with a generic apology and offered a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite for a future stay.nnThis response is not acceptable. The issue was not about getting a better room it was about honoring commitments made during meaningful, once-in-a-lifetime family events. The repeated failures and dismissive follow-up make me feel ignored and disrespected. As a long-standing member, I expected more care and accountability.nnI sincerely hope Hilton takes this feedback seriously. At this stage, it’s not just about service— it’s about trust in the brand.nnAre you planning to book a room at the Sydney Hilton for a special family or friend's event as a surprise? Be prepared for possible embarrassment in front of your family or friends
I stayed at the Hilton Sydney recently as I was going to the Anzac Dawn Service 2025 in Martin Place. Rooms are great, location is awesome with just a small walk to all the sights of Sydney. I went to the Brasserie for dinner , The service was excellent but maybe a bit pricey but well worth it. Parking was available on site so that was a bonus.nI was able to use my Hilton Rewards points which reduced the cost of my room to $189 for a night. WOW. Better than that Trivago advertisement. Such a great place to stay.
