We had a lovely 2 night break as our Christmas present to each other and had a wonderful time. The King room was great...modern & felt luxurious, really clean & had everything that we needed plus nice amenities!nThe staff were excellent - everyone we met were so friendly, helpful and professional. You have a fantastic team of very hardworking people! Thank you to them for making our stay so pleasurable.nWe had Executive Lounge access which was excellent and made our stay even better and a real treat for us - all the wonderful staff, food & beverage quality and selection, plus lounge area was great. We had lovely breakfasts in Glass Brasserie.nWe would definitely like to come back to the Hilton Sydney again, as our whole experience was so good. Thanks for looking after us and making us feel special!
Great location for business travel. Staff was quick and helpful. Lobby coffee is nice and cozy. Executive lounge for diamond member is a plus though it’s always busy. Eric was a great person to talk to and a great leader who managed to run the floor smoothly.
I had a corner room on the 34th floor. It was modern and clean. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, and the service was top-notch. The waiting areas and seating in the lobby were comfortable and roomy. The Marble Bar is worth a visit.
If you want to pay premium prices for the location, go ahead. Otherwise there is nothing premium about the hotel. The most disappointing thing being that there was no room service for food after midnight. We had just completed the Sydney Harbour Bridge walk at night and thought we'd head back to our hotel for some drinks and snacks. The only thing open was the Marble Bar and we were refused entry by the very rude and abrupt doorman. We thought we would retire to our room and rely on the age old stalwart of five star hotels being 'room service', only to discover that the only things on offer were drinks, but NO food! Not even a snack! This is certainly not an authentic five star hotel if they can't offer an all night room service! Corporate, bland, characterless,overpriced. Give us the Plaza any day! The best thing in the hotel was Manny the concierge. Starring up the old fashioned way. His service was brilliant.
Never stayed at the Hilton before. Location is great, a 20 minute walk to circular quay or train, tram nearby. Lots of shops and close to parks.. Room was clean, nice and well attended. Staff were friendly, and while I never got to the Marble bar I will next time. Their cafe on ground floor served good coffee compared to the local cafes i visited. Recommended.
