Absolutely loved our stay, best hotel we’ve stayed in Sydney so far, we didn’t want to leave, can’t wait to go back. Horizon club was great. Views were incredible. Staff were absolutely amazing. Pool was a tad cold but still great. Height restrictions for hot tub/spa was a bit difficult for families with smaller kids like us but wasn’t a deal breaker. Great location, although a bit of a hill/stairs to climb, but good workout. I do think the staff really made it feel like home. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Very spacious rooms, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Beautiful bathroom and amenities. The entire hotel has a luxurious feel and it’s located in a very beautiful and historic area right in the city. Overall the service was very good and there were several moments where I was made to feel like a special guest. Very pleased to have joined the loyalty program as I will be staying again.
Outstanding staff and exceptional service at this hotel! The front desk lady in the red jacket I regret not asking for her name was particularly remarkable - she provided warm, attentive, and genuinely caring service throughout our stay. Her bright smile and helpful demeanor made us feel truly welcomed.nnWhat impressed me most was that every single staff member we encountered displayed the same level of kindness and professionalism. From the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff, everyone had this wonderful combination of being both highly professional and genuinely warm-hearted. Their natural friendliness and sincere desire to help guests created such a welcoming atmosphere.nnIt's rare to find a hotel where the entire team consistently delivers such excellent service with authentic kindness. This level of genuine hospitality really enhanced our stay and left a lasting positive impression.nnSpecial appreciation to the lady in the red jacket - your dedication to guest service is exemplary!
Wonderful hotel with great large rooms and super views. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever experienced. The only slight negative is the location. It is up several very steep streets outside of the main harborside area, so it's a strenuous walk to get to the ferries, restaurants and main shopping area. But truly a hotel whose staff offer tip-top service otherwise.
Check-in was delayed by an hour, but the compensation provided made up for it, which I appreciated. The swimming pool was nice, but the heated pool was smaller than expected, which was a bit disappointing. In the women’s changing room, the hairdryer overheated to the point where it smelled like something was burning before it shut off. This should definitely be replaced as soon as possible. I ordered room service, and the prices were reasonable, which was a nice surprise.
