Volvo Lindfield must be so successful that they don't need customers. My partner and I researched the new Volvo EX30 and went to find out more about it at the Lindfield dealership. As we walked in we received a less than interested reception from the tall young male salesman. He eventually 'warmed up' after we asked some specific questions about the car and he let us take a demonstrator car for a drive while he got our trade-in appraised. We returned and spoke to the assistant manager the first salesman was busy with another customer and told him we'd do some further research, at which point he seemed to lose what little interest and he started with, in talking to us. They both promised to email us with our trade in appraisal and further info but we never heard from them so today we went to Volvo Cars Five Dock and dealt with a very helpful young salesman who gave us an on-the-spot good price for our trade-in and we bought a new EX30 from a branch that treats customers with a bit of respect. Thanks Volvo Cars Five Dock.
We had a FANTASTIC experience with Volvo Cars Lindfield. They were able to book us in for help with our car at short notice and were constantly in communication with any relevant updates. The technician I think it was Matt? was so thorough in his investigation of the issue, professional, friendly, helpful and informative at every point. More than happy with the service provided.
We bought a 2nd hand Mercedes V250 from Volvo Lindtfield a few months ago. The biggest mistake of my life. The vehicle was for my wife and 4 kids - moms taxi : paid $67K. The 2nd day of owning the car the sliding doors and tailgate did not work anymore. My wife and newborn, 1.5 year old and two other were stuck in the vehicle. My wife phoned me in tears and drove to the closest Mercedes dealer. I phoned Volvo Lindtfield, their only concern was not for Mercedes to have a look at the vehicle - no sympathy for the situation. I had to drive 1 hour and 15 mins the next day to their dealership to have a look at the doors. No apologies no refund for tolls and diesel. Got home the tailgate was working….guess what the sliding doors once again did not work. Once again Volvo told me to bring the car back. I work in a corporate environment and do not have time for such pathetic service. Out of my own I phoned Mercedes and begged for help on this issue. Luckily the car had one month Mercedes warranty left - drove there and they sorted me out with amazing service. Secondly I specifically told the sales person Pedro we do not want a car that was a taxi or company car before. Well guess what? When I rang for help to Mercedes I found out by mistake it was a Uber /taxi before - how is that for being transparent? Also before picking up the car we agreed there needs to be no dents on the car doors- it had a few small ones. Volvo gave me a few bucks to get it repaired elsewhere once again in my own time. I guess if you buy a new vehicle from the guys the service is great. My experience of this dealership is they have zero empathy for their customers and until today not one apology or what can we do….I spoke to the manager Matt at Volvo throughout all the issues but once again just worried about their own margins and causing us all the inconvenience in the world. Massive had a call from Suttons customer care as well - what a waist of time. Good luck buying a second hand vehicle from these guys.
