I bought a 997 Turbo from these guys 12 months ago. They sold it as a AWE 750R. Which was what I wanted. Turns out everything on it broke and AWE in the US have advised that it was counterfeit parts and not a genuine AWE car. Thanks for costing me $20k in repairs guys.

Never again, my poor Carrera S, first visit to Autohaus for front break pads+rotors 18 months ago and they still squeak every day after 12 or so km, Hornsby to Gordon run Mon-Fri. They attempted to fix by machining new rotors twice with no success. They should have installed softer pads I would say, but they couldn't figure this or were not interest to fix the problem. I asked them to also check a rattle in offside door at the same time as I didn't have the special tool, they pulled the lining out then told me someone had broken the plastic attachment lugs, they glued it back - I've had the car since new, so not true about someone breaking lugs - they too obviously didn't have the tool !! after their door efforts I noticed the offside seat motor control had "short circuited" - was fine in the morning I took the car to them as my son was next to me and adjusted the seat, when I took the car home it was not working, go figure. couple of visits latter they showed me a part with burnt circuit board, then showed me some shorted wires - So a couple of grand plus, the part was replaced.... I tried to discuss all of these issues with the Manger, he got extremely defensive, almost rude - I decided to back off and steer clear of these "professionals" - I write this review now because I have finally cracked from the constant break squeaking and decided that there needs to be some balance to all these 'love you guys' reviews. Sadly my first and only experience with Autohaus was a massive disappointment. So sad as I do like their workshop. Good luck to those that entrust their toys to Autohaus !!

If you are racing your $300k Porsche i'm sure these guys are passionate and worth the obscene rates, but as a service centre for regular Porsches they are literally price gouging and lazy. It took over a MONTH to replace an engine block (that I had to eventually source myself on ebay! because they couldn't  find one) on my 911 - and the entire process was dreadful. Woeful communication, followed by accusatory tone in the workshop that i might dare to expect better when they are "very busy". 

There are plenty of mechanics who can service your regular Porsche out there - go find them and let these guys find someone else to fund their racing weekends.
