Excellent experience, the process for completing the web check-in was very smooth this step is key to ensuring you only need to pick up the car. Afterward, a very attentive gentleman picked me up in the van, and we arrived at a well-organized branch where I quickly opted for the coverage to travel with peace of mind. There were plenty of brochures recommending plans in the city. The young lady who assisted me was very kind and took the time to tailor her suggestions based on my profile and what I was looking for on my trip, subtly offering recommendations.nnI rented an SUV, and it met all my expectations—no issues, practically brand-new, and everything worked perfectly.nnHonestly, I doubt I could choose another car rental option or any substitute if Snap is available. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Good, clean vehicle for a great price. It was a relatively easy pick up once we request a shuttle online. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I booked on Discover Cars, but everything went smoothly. It was an older car with over 104K on the odometer but we didn’t have any issues. I would rent from them again

I have been using Snap every time when I come back to Auckland since early 2024, from the moment when I met the shuttle driver, till the time of dropping off the car, the entire experience is amazingly pleasant, feel like welcoming back home, especially their drivers, Junior, John, they are both super friendly. Maybe I should not mention this here, so please do not take this particular event as granted as it’s not part of their job to offer after hours help… Back in October, I was late and missed the last shuttle going to the airport, I was standing outside the building with my young kid, trying to arrange uber but found my NZ phone battery was dead, totally lost … then we met Junior, who kindly offered me a ride to the airport even he was already off work he was also offering another customer to the petrol station for that trip, what a wonderful person! I really appreciate your kindness! You make us believe how beautiful this country is!

It took me a bit to find the shuttle parking spot. But not bad at all. It is kinda nice snap rental is outside of the airport so I can return the car easily too. And probably lowered the cost for us. At first I was given a much bigger SUV than the one I hired on booking.com but they exchanged it for me. I am happy with that. The process of picking up the car and returning the car could not be easier and faster. JJ the employee was really warm and friendly and helpful! Thank you! Overall it has great value for money and the vehicle is not the newest condition but pretty reliable and was good with me for a whole month with lots of driving. I never heard of snap before but it seems to be a good NZ vehicular rental business I will go back again. I didn’t have any issues driving with the car but I do recommend that everyone has some kind of extra coverage. Usually New Zealand rental business will cover the basics but you will have to pay the excess deductible and it is quite high. You will need to pay even if you are at no fault. So I bought the cheaper one from booking.com but if something happens you would have to pay first and then deal with the insurance after. If you buy the protection with snap you will not have to pay the excess and they won’t keep the deposit during the rental period.

when we picked up the car from Christ Church,  during the hour wait to pick up my car, I asked the Snap advisors if I had to clean it to return it. He told me that I could return it as it was and that I would not clean it. when I arrived in Auckland three weeks after, they told me that the interior was dirty and that they would charge me $250. They refused to let me clean it with their vacuum cleaner, the two gas stations near the airport either did not have a vacuum cleaner or were broken, and when I wanted to clean it by hand the Snap employee started the car while the door was open. My wife picture it, it was almost an assault. In short, I am very unhappy with this Snap company and its unforeseen additional costs. There was a simple vacuum cleaner to pass in the car. It's a 10 minute action. it was just sand and dust.
