Totally disappointing company!!! We booked a camper-van from Maui few weeks ago to relocate it from Queenstown to Auckland. After we received the confirmation we planned our journey for 8 days to visit NZ South Island (Book air plan tickets, hotel and all adventurers). Just less than 40 hours before our trip they just cancelled our booking and request for a big amount of money to rent a camper-van to us. We have been told, they keep the right to cancel any booking by 24 hours before pick up. Please read the crazy terms and conditions carefully, as they claimed they mentioned this irrational condition there. As I read some negative feedback on renting companies, my friend called them for double confirmation on any rules and conditions that we need to know, however they confirm our booking two times and even do not mentioned any thing about this crazy condition. This is really dishonor and disappointing. I would never recommend this company as they are not trustworthy.

Pickup was a disaster - arrived at exactly the agreed 10am collection time and it took more than 2 hours to get served and was 1pm before we left with the campervan. Lots of other customers in a similar situation (after long flights) and a lot of vocal complaining - appeared to be really understaffed. We actually felt lucky to finally get a van - I heard the couple next to me being told the van they’d paid for now wasn’t available and that they’d be put in a hotel in Auckland for the night and to return tomorrow. I’d actively look to book from a different company (note that maui, Britz and Mighty are all brands of the same company THL).

Loved our trip in the campervan. Got a solar powered unit which meant FREEDOM CAMPING the whole time.

We booked a motor home from Maui company for relocation and we received “Two” confirmation emails from them. Now, Just two days before our trip, they called me saying that the booking is cancelled. I tried to resolve the issue with the company, but they said the relocations are for business need and they can cancel it at any time, which this informations has never been explained to me, even after I personally called them to check if there is any information that I need to know! They claimed that they have rented the motor home to another costumer, but when I offered to hire the motor home with full price, they said I need to pay nearly $3000! This to me sounds very much a defraud! Based on the confirmation emails I received from them we planned our trip, including booking accommodation and flight ticket and some activities, which are all going to be affected. I even pain $200 deposit to the agency, which was going to be transferred to the company.

!!!BE WARNED, DON'T TRUTH THIS CAMPERVAN COMPANY !!! We booked a compervan for holiday during Christmas. We paid for our flights from Auckland to pick up the campervan from Queenstown. Unfortunately, the company canceled our booking few days before. This affects all the other bookings that we arranged.
