She took the time to listen carefully to our requirements, explained the differences between the available models, and guided us toward the product that best suited our needs.nnWhat stood out most was her ability to balance efficiency with genuine customer care. Despite the hectic environment, She ensured we felt valued and supported throughout the decision-making process. Dear Harvey Norman Customer Service,nnI am writing to formally complain about the treatment I received at your hoppers crossing store. While shopping, my 2-year-old daughter accidentally pulled a tassel on a cushion. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, three of your staff members insisted that I pay for the damage and stated that I could not leave the store until I purchased the item.nnI find this behaviour completely unacceptable. My daughter is a toddler, and this was clearly an accident. For staff to pressure me in this way, making me feel intimidated and uncomfortable, is deeply concerning and does not reflect the level of customer service I expect from Harvey Norman.nnI request that you review this incident, address the conduct of the staff involved, and clarify your policy regarding accidental damage caused by young children. I would also appreciate a formal response outlining the steps you will take to ensure such incidents do not happen again.nnThank you for your attention to this matter.
Staff were friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions without being pushy. Store was well laid out and easy to find what I needed, and the service was quick and efficient. Overall a smooth and pleasant shopping experience — would definitely come back.
I had a very bad experience with Harvey Norman regarding LG vacuum cleaner product care.nWithin two years, I had to give the vacuum twice for repairs. Each time, they took nearly two months to return it. Despite repeated follow-ups, I never received a proper or clear answer about the issue or the delay. Their communication is terrible and customer service is completely unprofessional.nIf you are thinking of buying an LG vacuum cleaner from Harvey Norman, I strongly suggest don’t. Based on my experience, do not buy any product from this place. Once they sell the product, they don’t care about customer support or timely repairs.nVery disappointing service. I regret buying from them.
I purchased a brand-new laptop from Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing, and when I opened it at home the screen was already broken. I had also paid an extra $300 for Product Care, but when I returned to the store for assistance, the staff refused to help.nnI went back multiple times to speak with the manager Phil and the franchise owner Habib, but instead of helping me, they were extremely rude, uncooperative, and offensive in their behaviour. I felt that I was treated unfairly and even experienced racism during my visits.nnIt was shocking to see such unprofessionalism from a well-known company. A brand-new product should not come broken, and customers should not be disrespected or blamed for faults that clearly existed at the time of purchase. The way I was treated made me feel humiliated and very disappointed.nnAfter my experience, I checked online and noticed many other customers have also left negative reviews about this store. Clearly, my case is not an isolated incident.nnI strongly recommend avoiding Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, and they do not take responsibility for faulty products. Save your time, money, and peace of mind and shop elsewhere.
