Hoppers Crossing Carpet Court

Expected nothing, but still disappointed anyway. Walked in, zero customers in the store on a Saturday afternoon. Only saw one employee at his desk doing some paperwork. No greeting, no acknowledgement, that's fine. Spent 20mins in the same section of the store looking at blinds and the guy never left his desk. I knew what I wanted by the way, it would've been a quick and easy sale, I went and bought it across the street instead.

I recently had carpet supplied and laid by Carpet Court, Hoppers Crossing. I have given them 2 stars as they did supply by the date I required and the carpet is pleasing. However, there were issues which I hope in writing this, may help others avoid On arriving to lay the carpet, the layer declared that there was a 'problem' and that the doors to the rooms would have to be taken off and 'he doesn't touch doors'. The salesman had been to measure up previously and he hadn't mentioned this, nor had the same carpet layer who had been the day before and removed my existing carpet. It was then up to me at that point to find someone who would remove the doors. This was very stressful for me and should not have occurred. It should also have been included in the price quoted and which I had paid in advance as per their requirements. I had also paid extra to have the furniture moved and the old carpet removed. When the carpet layer finished laying the carpet, he would not vacuum and would not even wait a few minutes while I did. He was really very impatient, abrupt and unprofessional. I contacted the salesperson to inquire if this was normal practice and the prompt response I received was "No, we are not cleaners, we are installers" This I felt was rude. I told him about the issue with the doors and after some thought, he said he could have fixed that. Unfortunately, his carpet layer was not aware of that fact. The worst part of the deal was the cheap shot from the salesman after I had drawn the above to his attention. He retaliated with very negative comments about the carpet that they had removed from my house. He was aware when he took the order that I have two little dogs in the house, that the carpet was 15 years old and was due for replacement. It is because I do care about it, that I had just installed doors to the room to protect the new carpet that was being laid. I felt his extremely rude remarks to be most unprofessional. In view of this, I would not deal with Carpet Court again. Respect for customers should still continue after the final payment has been made

Zero customer service. What are these guys paid to do. I hope AMAZON will teach these guys a lesson.

Having moved into a brand new apartment and receiving numerous quotes for blinds I contacted the team at carpet court hoppers crossing. Firstly the quote was great! During the measure it was suggested that chains, mechanism and bottom rail could be painted to match our window frames. Once installed this really made a difference and set us apart from the other apartments giving a quality look. Thanks again!

Totally put off with this store. The store was empty with zero customers yet the sales person was busy chatting away at his desk. Never coming back again and they just lost 5K worth of business
