The Warehouse Newmarket

It seems like no one wants to work at this warehouse anymore… Maybe it’s time for this warehouse to shut down. I came here because the stock was supposedly available, but one staff member told me to go over there, and when I went, they told me to ask somewhere else. Then when I came back, I was told to go back again. Customers are treated like trash at this inconvenient branch. They might as well close it down and just operate online—what a waste of wages on staff like that.

While I was here I interacted with two staff members and both showed bad attitude while speaking with me. I had a simple inquiry about the location of some of their products and the first told me to wait while she finished doing her task, which I was happy to do. However when she was done and I asked her my inquiry she told me to go find another customer service in a snappy tone. As far as I could gather she was an Indian middle age lady that was sorting out the jewellery section I then went to find another customer service representative and she showed me the area with the products I was after but the attitude she gave off was that she did not care to help to the best of her ability. When I asked if there was anywhere else that sold the product, she gave me a sharp “no”, and turned away. I was very disappointed with the service here. On another note, I went to check the price of some products and found that the actual price had been written over and it was hard to read the price.

Compared to the one in Auckland Central, this Newmarket branch is bigger, has more product options and self-checkout machines. It's definitely a better option for someone who lives at the corner of Grafton Road and Park Road such as myself.
