The Warehouse New Lynn

I have been shopping here for over 8 years and this is the first time I’ve had the worst customer experience here ever. I just bought a microwave oven around 6.15 pm today and took it home to realise that it’s a damaged unit. I immediately came back to the warehouse and had to go through worst customer experience from a check out counter operator who is barely out of school by the looks of it. When I returned to the shop with the damaged oven I found some space on the counter and kept it and she started saying that I have to wait till she finishes the queue. I waited aside and when she Started talking to me she made me so angry and I had to tell her to control her attitude. She responded to me as I am burden to her. Never said anything apologetic on behalf of the store to comfort me. She instead said that she is a just a check out operator and has nothing to do with broken goods kept on the shelves. This check out operator felt so entitled she didn’t even bother to smile or engage with me to ask about the inconvenience caused. It was around 7.30 when I returned back to the store and she was the only one at the checkout and half way through another operator came and helped me so the transaction. I felt so helpless as this cashier made me feel so small with her very sharp attitude and words. Shame on you warehouse for employing this type of people when there are so many good people out there waiting to get a job. The good people who worked here are all gone and now I don’t even feel like going there anymore. Tye management should take full responsibility for having such a rude girl at the checkout counters. 03/08/2024 at 7.30 pm.

Extremely disappointed with Shaun with Manager. Went in a hurry trying to buy something. Asked the Manager where said item was to try save some time as I figured the manager would be a good help. Turns out I couldn’t have been more wrong. If you ever want to see how it feels to be treated like a waste to society then Sean the manager is your guy. I would rate his ability to make me feel horrible about myself 10/10. Rolling the eyes, short closed responses, total unwillingness to help . Well done Sean I really feel horrible and disappointed in myself.

There must be an angle leading me into the Warehouse, as I always get served by these two lovely ladies and that makes me happy.nOn other occasions not so good, I am retired now and I know how it feels when you just don't want to be at work, but that must not reflect on your customers and stop us from even just a wee smile and more importantly acknowledge your customer as I am not invisible.

Big day out at the red house looking for a vacuum cleaner and scored this deal on the mako commercial number. Got a few boogie boards to surf out the last of summer.nnWas so impressed with the range and price that I couldn’t pass on the 24 pack of Pepsi max sugar free. I just wanted to say Thank you to the girls who worked there tonight. I was waiting around to get my pay so i thought i’d be cheeky and use my afterpay while i wait for pay to come in. Got up to the counter and my card was expired in a month hence i was not able to use afterpay. The ladies there were very patient and kind and assured me when i was ready and sorted out a payment to go up to the front. You guys made a very awakward situation less daunting especially with a line of people behind me and i just want to say you are appreciated.
