The words to describe this theatre is nostalgic and cute. The stairs that ascend up from the entrance have beautiful hand rails. With the foyer being very intimate that hugs all the entrances to each cinema and the concession stand.nnThe snack options are great and the first time I’ve ever seen gluten free cones for ice cream. The prices are fair for snacks and tickets.nnThe seats in the theatre are comfortable and spacious. The couches at the back are really nice to sit on and the cushions are a really nice addition to the aesthetics.
The most beautiful movie theater. I watched Life in One Chord with my friend. It was an unforgettable experience.nnDorathee and Philip are extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. They are both very contagiously passionate about movies.nnHigh recommended. Will definitely go back again to watch more NZ movies.
Beautiful cinema, management so helpful scheduling a time to suit our group. Perfect venue to watch Downton Abbey, the grand finale. The Vic Devonport is a treasure.
This is a nice picture theater,nUnfortunately it only seems to ever show the mediocre main stream movies.nIt would be really great if it would emulate the Bridgeway format,nOf film festivals and more mature audience films on occasions .nRather than the Constant diet of predominantly family and children movies.
Loved The Mischief Company performance! Such vivid characters in fun story lines. The Vic has a special ambiance which suits the improv comedy shows really well!
