Good comfortable seats! Needs a good clean!nnAs well , they turned th3 heater way too high! It was like a sauna inside :nnWe told the workers twice! Didn't enjoy the the movie as it was way too hot! Even the kids were hot and asked the adults to go tell someone to turn AC on!
Lovely customer service received tonight, good upsell to get me on the Hoyts membership and amazing advice! Thanks to the young lad at the counter! Clean tidy facility! Toilets require TLC as they smelt of urine, and a couple of seats were not reclining so we had to move seats. Overall good experience of the theatre!
Our girls' night out with my daughters was a blast this evening. After dinner at Nando's Botany Town Centre, we made the short walk to Hoyts Cinema. We didn't have to do much, just activated our order - already placed online prior - and picked it up when we got there and headed right into the cinema. The movie was a blast, especially for my girls who adore Demon Slayer. Definitely recommend Hoyts if you're in the area and have to choose what to do or even which cinema to pass the time on an evening alone or out with friends. They are straightforward and very polite with their service. Otherwise, you can do everything online or on their app
I’ve been to the LUX cinemas in Sylvia Park so Botany was my first time & also first experience for my kids. John was the highlight of our experience!! He had such a lovely personality & was very informative and helpful. He made sure my kids were comfortable at all times. Personally I would pick Sylvia Park as they have comfortable seats & more space for each seat where you have your own table & light. We didn’t have much room on our table where I sat next to my daughter & had to share the little table when our dinner & dessert came out. Had only one drink cup holder as well. The toilets needed to be restocked with toilet paper which we advised the staff. All in all, John was the highlight for us!! :
We went today to watch the Caroline movie in Cinema 7. When we got there, the bins were completely full, already over filling. The three rows of seats at the back had oil wiped on the leather seats, popcorn stuck in crevices, rubbish on the floor and the leather appeared to be damaged. It was not a comfortable environment to sit in and there should have been at least somebody to wipe some of the surfaces and take away rubbish. Clearly there’s a management problem and insufficient staff.nnWhile the first impression was pretty disappointing the rest of the 1-2 hours was good. The sound system was okay and movie quality was also decent.
