Our girls' night out with my daughters was a blast this evening. After dinner at Nando's Botany Town Centre, we made the short walk to Hoyts Cinema. We didn't have to do much, just activated our order - already placed online prior - and picked it up when we got there and headed right into the cinema. The movie was a blast, especially for my girls who adore Demon Slayer. Definitely recommend Hoyts if you're in the area and have to choose what to do or even which cinema to pass the time on an evening alone or out with friends. They are straightforward and very polite with their service. Otherwise, you can do everything online or on their app
Lovely customer service received tonight, good upsell to get me on the Hoyts membership and amazing advice! Thanks to the young lad at the counter! Clean tidy facility! Toilets require TLC as they smelt of urine, and a couple of seats were not reclining so we had to move seats. Overall good experience of the theatre!
No staff on the entrance or a sign saying that you could go inside. The cinema was clean but can't say the same for the toilet, the door wouldn't lock and it was really dirty. The screen was nice, the day bed experience was also good although I felt the location inside the room isn't the bed, you don't have the bed angle view from it, it's like you're seating in the first row so you'll see everything distorted.
Not a bad cinema at all. Service was fast. Prices for movies nowadays is unbelievable tbh. We got our tickets, food and we just walked right into the cinemas, nobody checked our tickets or nothing? Is this normal here? Just saying. Movies was packed, clean and easy to locate of you get there early while the lights are on lol
Service was great -bought LUX tickets - $30 can’t complain for the privacy seating but the pricing of the meals totally not worth it especially if they come out cold and undercooked. We ate as much as we could cause we didn’t have dinner and tried not to be fussy but the pepperoni pizza felt like it was from a countdown box and wasn’t even cooked or atleast warm. Was warm in the middle and cold crust and everywhere else. The fish n chips was disappointing. it felt like those hoki fish fillets you get from the box in the frozen department at any supermarket + fish was cold. Only bonus was the fries. We ate as much as we could with the dissatisfied taste cause we didn’t have dinner. But then leaving the movie theatre I did end up getting sick and all that food came out. I wasn’t too happy with the $99.90 price of food we ordeeed and it felt like cheap kai. I remember movies food used to be comforting , that was a downfall.
