$10 movie tickets?! Fabulous!! Especially since my children had been begging me to watch the David movie for weeks. There was a bit of a queue for snacks so we patiently waited for our turn when a lady pushed in ahead of us just as we reached the counter. When I tried to inform her we were waiting ahead of her, she ignored me. I stood right next to her repeatedly saying excuse me while she pretended I wasn’t there until she finally said “the movie already started”.. I looked at the worker who mouthed out a sorry while everyone else behind the counter refused to make eye contact. I told this lady she wasn’t setting a really good example for her children who were present and she went back to ignoring me. For context, I am a brown person and all the workers and majority of the customers were white, including the lady who pushed in front of me, so I was already feeling out of place. Despite the worker apologising, it really doesn’t do much given she was still served before us. I’m a reasonable person. Had she asked to get in ahead because she’s late, I would not have minded if everyone behind me was okay with it as well. But no. She was entitled. I feel like this experience showed both her children and my children that if you’re late enough, rude enough and impatient enough then you can bypass fairness. Customer service should be first in, first serve but you knew that already.
I absolutely love old cinemas. The vibe here is quiet and chill. Grab you popcorn and drinks and enjoy the movies. My only concern is the seating, maybe a cushion for some extra padding and comfort.
Really cozy in this cinema, you can even get food brought to you while watching the movie which is a big surprise. Seats aren’t best quality, but for $10 I don’t mind sitting in them.
We had a great time at the movies last night, however the female toilets were in poor condition and quite dirty. Improving this would really help the overall experience.
Weird odour in the theatre. I wish I took my febreeze bottle lol.The sound of the movie wasn't that loud either.nI will still give 3 stars as it was $10 per ticket.
