This theater used to be fantastic, but after my last visit, it seems the standards have declined. The couches in the lobby were stained and dirty. Additionally, they no longer offer glass bottles of Coke and soft drinks; instead, they’ve switched to bulky metal reusable bottles, which don’t exactly convey a “boutique” cinema experience. The tops of these bottles had fingerprints, raising concerns about their cleanliness. The only redeeming feature was the reclining movie theater seats. If you want to maintain your reputation as a boutique cinema, you need to return to the high standards you once had.
I went with a friend last night to watch a movie and we had a great time. Food was good and we had it brought out during the movie which was nice. The best part of the whole experience was the staff! Lovely lady who was helpful with checking allergens and great to chat to. Will be back for sure.
The best cinema of all time, absolute GEM, it out does Event and HOYTs big time, perks bout it was you get to tap the screen on where you wanna be seated, you get so much leg room at your seating and they got mini tables with little torches. The food you order gets delivered too you and they do restaurant meals not just the popcorn and sweets, even the toilets you get your own individual private one very good if your an introvert haha, they are very clean and flash they even got mini towels, only thing bout it was I only had half a toilet roll but overall 10/10.
First time going to the Orakei location, there were a lot of signs explaining the new system change. All staff on tonight for the Inside Out 2 premier were helpful. There were a few hiccups but this was resolved quickly from the manager who went out of her way to provide exceptional service. Thank you so much, we appreciate it! Will be returning :
Very nice welcome and personal attention given. Cinema 2 afforded nice spacious seating and lazyboy style leg rests. Great views from the deck and a lift for those unable to manage 4 flights of steps!
