Chairs not properly cleaned between viewings, old napkins and rubbish in cup holders. Expensive as well; plus gift cards still only good for 12 months after Consumer NZ campaign to try to get them to get up to industry standards of 5 years minimum.nnPersonally, I had a concussion and could not attend anything like the cinemas for nearly a year, and after discussing with a manager on-site he said my gift card would be good for another year. Then it failed to work online or in person, and a different manager said all gift card issues had to go through the online portal. Auto-email said they’d get in touch within 14 working days, but ended up taking over 23 working days, and they said they don’t make any exceptions whatsoever to keeping the money as pure profits even when a customer has had a medical issue.nnDo yourself and your loved ones a favor and only buy proper Visa/Mastercard/AmEx gift cards, not ones from these self-serving Aussie owned groups.

I had a blast here, I watched the new Five Nights At Freddys movie which was well put together and relaxing since we had recliners. I got a ticket for only a dollar because of my hoyts rewards card and ended up buying popcorn which was absolutely heavenly. This has always been a favourite as I go here to see new movies with friends/family heaps. The servers were kind but professional which was good, the place was tidy and empty with seating available EVERYWHERE.
Big screen, recliner seats, a glass of bubbles ... what's not to like. Always clean and movies show at good times to cater for all ages and types.
Great theatre, nice movie experience. Sound was good and the screen was big enough. The cinema was a bit small and the leather seats were a bit worn down. Furthermore, there it is pretty dirty in there.
