The movie was nice. Went to watch Lilo & Stitch. Bought a stitch blanket from here. The lazy boy chair was nice. It was very comfortable. Customer service was nice. They were very talkative. You can buy alcohol from here. Looks clean and tidy. There's a small arcade game for kids to enjoy here while waiting.
I've been to this movie theater more than once and each time I have done it I have enjoyed the movie and the foood, there were times where the movie wasn't a good one and I didn't like them but ultimately I do enjoy coming here to look around and watch movies on the big screen.nnMy best memory of going was going to see Ghostbusters Frozen Empire last year and having an ice cream and buying a Stay Puft plushie.
Going to the movies in my opinion is a special treat, and it helps when the cinema has everything you need for a great time. Hoyts Wairau is very convenient located, and has plenty of parking which makes a huge difference, so you're not stressed before the film looking for a park. Once inside, the comfort continues with plush, comfortable seating that lets you sink in and put your feet up. No cinema trip is complete without snacks, and a good variety ensures there's something for everyone, from classic popcorn to more gourmet options.
Our movie cut out after 25 minutes - we lost the screen but the sound kept playing. They told us it would take 15 minutes or so to fix, so we waited around but it ended up taking much longer. We decided to seek a refund and leave. The staff said the manager is the only one who could process refunds but he was not there at the time. They took my details and told me they would email me about the refund. Still haven’t heard from them days later, and all calls have been unanswered. I understand that shit happens, but the lack of follow up after promising a refund is what has resulted in the 1 star review. We paid over $50 to watch 25 mins of a movie, so not happy
We come here for all the children movies very clean and tidy and very comfortable
