Today, I lost my visa card and another important card that slipped under the seat. It was very hard to pull it out, i asked an employee where I could get help, knowing she was busy, so I only asked where to go for assistance. Unfortunately, she told me to go to the next line and didn’t offer help. In the end, I had to struggle on my own to pull it out from under the seat, and my hand got scratched. There was no one at the information desk either. It was a very frustrating experience, and I hope the staff can be more attentive in the future.
This cinema has the best popcorn I’ve ever had. It is consistently phenomenal, never burnt andnalways season perfectly through the entire box.nLove that all the chairs are recliner too.
I‘ve been here a lot in the past few months and it’s been a lovely experience every time. The customer service is great, you get served fast even if there’s a long queue. The salty popcorn was perfectly salty, not too much and not too little. The portion was good. The snacks are lovely, even when they‘re a bit overpriced but that’s the same in every cinema. The seats, especially the reclinable ones, are awesome and absolutely worth the price. I‘d choose this cinema over any other in NZ!!!
Good cinema. My kids and I regularly pop in to see movies they're wanting to see. This last week we went and saw Moana 2 and Wicked.nThe seating is much better then it used to be, with comfortable recliners and lots of space to move around.nPaid $15 to get the upgrade of the rewards. Which is meant to make tickets cheaper but for some reason, the last purchase I made, I was charged more then the visit before ie : kids were $12 each for Moana 2, but I was charged $30 for them to see Wicked..... so that was a bit frustrating.nAll in all, it's a clean and tidy cinema, staff seemed friendly enough and we will definitely be back again soon.
HOYTS Wairau has one of the best young teams I’ve ever seen! From ticketing to the snack counter, everyone is super friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they enjoy their work, which makes the whole experience even better.
