I‘ve been here a lot in the past few months and it’s been a lovely experience every time. The customer service is great, you get served fast even if there’s a long queue. The salty popcorn was perfectly salty, not too much and not too little. The portion was good. The snacks are lovely, even when they‘re a bit overpriced but that’s the same in every cinema. The seats, especially the reclinable ones, are awesome and absolutely worth the price. I‘d choose this cinema over any other in NZ!!!
I mean, look at these beds! And no, your neck doesn't strain, and yes - bring a blanket because it's super comfortable. I'll always choose Hoyts Wairau only because of the staff and atmosphere.nP.s, being a big girl, the seats make you feel tiny
This is the third time I have been here, and so far everything is good. Better seats, nicer staff, I felt comfortable and enjoyed watching movies here. One point deducted for hot chocolate; I paid for regular size but I might have received the small size. If this wasn't human error, then the regular size isn't worth it. Anyway, it's only a 50-cent difference, so it's acceptable for now. Overall, it's better than Event Cinema!
Good cinema. My kids and I regularly pop in to see movies they're wanting to see. This last week we went and saw Moana 2 and Wicked.nThe seating is much better then it used to be, with comfortable recliners and lots of space to move around.nPaid $15 to get the upgrade of the rewards. Which is meant to make tickets cheaper but for some reason, the last purchase I made, I was charged more then the visit before ie : kids were $12 each for Moana 2, but I was charged $30 for them to see Wicked..... so that was a bit frustrating.nAll in all, it's a clean and tidy cinema, staff seemed friendly enough and we will definitely be back again soon.
The Cinema itself is actually great staff are friendly and helpful, but the loos are a bit of a shame.nGreat comfortable seats, spacious and not too busy, always love going here. Very clean, large cinemas, they just gotta sort out the bogs!
