Staff were excellent but the chair looked dirty as did the middle table. The chair was also very noisy when adjusting the leg stand. It would be great if they dimmed all the chair lights during the main movie as well. Food and drinks were very good.

Cinema is fine, clean & comfy. But the popcorn was gross. That’s the one highlight of the movies for me, buttery popcorn! But barely any butter and half of it tasted old/burnt??? You could tell some of it had been sitting in the warmer and was mixed with new popcorn. Michael Jackson movie was great though.

I had a great experience at Gold Class in Event Cinemas Albany. The lounge is beautiful and sets the mood for a relaxing night. The seats are extra big, super comfortable, and come with a personal table—perfect for enjoying the movie in comfort. I really appreciated the friendly staff; they were helpful and knew exactly what was gluten-free, which made ordering easy. The nachos were delicious—hot, cheesy, and great for movie snacking. I also loved the food and drink service during the movie—it was smooth and didn’t disturb the experience at all. Highly recommend for a special night out!

Extremely poor Gold Class experience at Albany. We paid for a premium cinema experience, but had three children around 10 years old sitting directly behind us with no adult supervision. They were loud, shouting and running around throughout the film.nnGold Class serves alcohol and operates as a licensed environment, so it is very concerning that children were allowed in unsupervised. Staff clearly knew, but did nothing.nnThe manager, Rick Hao, also appeared to be personally familiar with the children, which raises further concerns about how the situation was handled. We raised the issue calmly and respectfully, but he was aggressive from the outset, dismissive, and effectively told us we were not welcome to return.nnCompletely unacceptable and not worth the premium price.
