Event Cinemas - St Lukes

My first movie experience at Newzealand. Watched deadpool and wolverine on 24th July. Was truly an experience that i can cherish. Hoping to watch more movies from there. I love the screen and sound. But the seats are mostly torn and felt old. Better need improvements. Rest no issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this Event Cinemas location. The big wide screen and the fact that it wasn't crowded made our movie experience even better. We were particularly impressed by the service provided by a gentleman with a beard who worked there, although we didn't catch his name. He went above and beyond to assist us. We visited around 1:40, and he finished his shift at 5pm on sept 19, 2023. We can't express how thankful we are for his exceptional service. It's worth noting that only a few staff members were as accommodating and helpful as he was. We hope you consider hiring more staff members like him in the future.

I was with my daughter at st Luke’s to watch a movie and we were at cinema 7. We were overwhelmed by the smell and then noticed there is a huge blood stainperiod - row I6 on the seat next to me. It’s sad that these venues are not kept clean and maintained for hygiene!

Went to see the Pe-release on the film Garfield that was presented by The Hits, Auckland.nnGreat theatre with well controlled air flow and temperature, allowing a comfortable time in the theatre. Comfortable seating to allow for an enjoyable visit.nnThe refreshment section is very well stocked, and the service was great. Enjoyed some fresh popcorn and cold cool drinks, which is really enjoyable. Will definitely be back in the future.

The Event Cinemas in the St Lukes mall are one of the larger cinemas in the area.nThey have decent number of screens showing a variety of movies at once.nForeign movies are also shown here which makes viewing a great experience.nThe seats in the theater are nice and comfortable.nThere are self service kiosks for collecting online ticket bookings which makes the whole process a breeze.nQuite a few food and snacks options are also available while enjoying the shows.
