My husband and I attended a screening of a French Film Festival movie recently, wow we were very impressed with your theatre. The staff were friendly and helpful, we love the atmosphere, also your tickets and the snacks were a very reasonable price. Thank you, we will be back soon.
Amazing cinema experience for mothers day. We arrived early for Devil Wears Prada 2, we were 1st ones waiting, alot of people came in end. And tried to get in cinema first, we made sure to let staff know we had been waiting awhile. Thankfully we were let in first and got the arm chairs that reclined at the front. It was great! Yummy ice cream too.
This place is amazing because it has such a family atmosphere. Richard the manager runs a very boutique establishment and whilst it’s a very hard market given the big corporates that dominate it The Lido attracts a refined clientele that enjoys the fine menu of movies that Richard and team provide. A great bar selection and comfortable cinemas make this an excellent place to spend some time. We love the Lido. If we could give 8 stars we would!
This is a very cool cinema if you can locate a parking slot allowing for 90 minutes. It's my place to watch an exotic but excellent movie. Seats are comfortable, staff are nice, toilets are clean, nice coffee, even can read the Herald while waiting. The film selection is not the mainstream blockbuster type, but almost always about human spirits. My favorite chillout place, you can hardly go wrong with their selection, perhaps more so for the mature audience. The nearby shops are nice too.
