An amazing feed at The Fish Box! The value for money is excellent, and the bun choice is delicious. We heard about this place all the way in Wellington and added it to our itinerary—so glad we did. We drove to a nearby lakeside park and enjoyed a filling meal with a beautiful view. It's definitely become an instant favourite, and we'll be sure to stop by the next time we're passing through Taupō.

Strong recommendation for fish and chips. I had tarahiki and curly fries. The batter was crunchy and neither too thin nor too thick. The fish was tender and moist. The curly fries serving was generous. Lovely crunch that contrasted with the soft interior.

Great food brought burgers fish n chips seafood and desserts absolutely delicious fast on point with nothing missing from a big order for whanau. We would highly recommend. Big thank you to all the friendly staff we will definitely be back for more. Thank you for our Matariki Kai made our night .

Great place for fish and chips, a $31 package plenty for 4 people, with chips, 4 slices of potato fritters, 2 sausages, 8 pieces of fish. The sausages are so juicy and meaty, delicious crunchy potato fritters, fresh fish, with fast service.nBest fish and chips in Taupo

Battered fish turns out to be crumbed-like. Piece of fish quite small. Paua fritter tastes not so fresh with a price of 12.50 dollars.nnThe condition of the shop could be much improved.nnI recommend another fish and chips shop close to Pak and Save if you are looking for tasty meal.
