By far was the best meals we had in New Zealand in our vacation here probably one of the best burgers I ever had! Burgers are so tasty! We had the Chef’s obsession and cheeseburger and none disappointed us!nHighly recommend this place to any burger-lover !
I'm confused, sad, disappointed and confused more.nThe honey butter chicken is just confused and nothing to do with honey or butter, full of yellow mustard seed and fennel seeds the chicken is a sloppy mess and just cooked. Certainly didn't takeaway well.nBlue cheese and hot sauce is a wet mess.nnDon't order the frozen fried onion rings, I asked about them and was told they were a best seller, I asked for the dukka on the side because I wasn't sure where that spice fitted in with southern fried chicken baskets and burgers.nnI did ask how long there had been new owners used to be a firm favourite when I'm in taupo. It's certainly not the same mate, it's confused southern chicken, crazy spice bends that are complicated opposite.nnOnwards and upwards, absolutely had a great walk there and back but that's where the happiness ends. nnOh yeah couldn't help myself and ordered the gravy with cheese...... I'm even more confused.
Cheeseburger, veggie burgers and Caesar salads were delicious! The sweet potato fries were a little too salty for my liking though. But that didn’t ruin the experience we had, so cheap for the portion and flavour you get! Thank you :
We visited Pauly’s Diner in Taupo, remembering how amazing it was a few years ago under the original owners. Unfortunately, our recent experience wasn't great. The beef burgers were raw in the middle, including the kids' meals which I feel is unacceptable. The chicken burger was overloaded with dill coleslaw. We tried to call and give feedback but couldn't get through after three attempts. Disappointed with the visit this time.
Kumara fries were great. Really enjoyed my burger too, got the Chilli Cheeseburger, just wish it had a little more kick. Shake was nice and thick.
