The special thing about this restaurant is the concept. You have to order a few plates you can share with the people on your table. This way you can get a taste of everything. We loved the food so much, so many different tastes and combinations of spices! So good! The service staff were super friendly and one of the fastest waiters/waitresses I have ever seen. We weren‘t even sitting down completely and they already brought us water and gave us recommendations. I would definitely come back.nSpecial recommendation: NZ Green Lipped Mussels
Wonderful friendly service from the moment we walked through the door and some good sounds coming from the speakers too. Staff were attentive without being overwhelming. Food was OH MY GOD delicious. Beautifully presented and just so delish. Eyes were bigger than our bellies and we ordered too much but the menu was just inviting us to try things. We loved our first time at this restaurant, were not disappointed and will be back. Thanks Plateau xxx
Lucky to get a table on a busy Friday night. We came here for dinner and tried a few dishes:nn Brussels Sprouts – Nicely done. Bacon and Brussels sprout well matched.nn Ika Mata – Fresh and balanced with a nice hint of ginger.nn Pork Skewers – A great Chinese fusion dish, tender meat paired perfectly with the sweet sauce.nn Lamb – Cooked well to medium rare, but the flavour was bland and the sauce didn’t add much. I ended up eating it with the leftover sauce from the pork skewers just to finish the meat.nnLovely atmosphere and good service overall. The pork skewers and ika mata really stood out, while the lamb could use more flavour.nnIt would also be better if the dishes were served hotter, as they cooled down by the time they reached the table.
Wow! This is a top flight restaurant with amazing food, alcohol options and extremely efficient and helpful staff. It's not cheap but it's worth every cent! Highly recommended.
The other dishes were great, especially the desserts — they were delicious! The only downside was that this pastry was a bit too oily.
