Everything about this meal was excellent. The quality of the ingredients, the preparation, the flavor, and the presentation. The proprietor of our accommodations recommended it as it's only a couple hundred meters up the road and she said it was a place popular with locals. After a quick Google, we made our way up the road and were not disappointed. Despite being very busy and not having reservations, they found room for us. I'd highly recommend.
Overnight stay in Taupo and we chose this restaurant because it was close to our accommodation. Such a gorgeous setting cosy and comfortable with a lovely log burner. Great staff and food was absolutely delicious. Steamed vegetables were incredible so fresh with a slight crunch just how I love them. The chicken supreme was perfectly cooked and so good. Highly recommend this restaurant. Good value for money too.
Busy place at the bar, but as we went early they fitted us in with no issues. Great meals, the best pork belly. We will definitely return.
