It was our first time visiting this place and the food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pork belly was mouth watering! We had the chocolate dessert which was also really good. The place was very lively but we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. Best to call up to book in because it seems popular. Will definitely visit again
From out of town just saw the restaurant as we drove in, stopped in with no reservation however the staff made a spot for us even though they were really busy, awesome suprise as it was easily the best dinner we've had in a long time, great atmosphere and really good prices. Highly recommended and appreciate all of the staff there.
We dined as a group of approximately 25 people, including 9 children, and were booking at very short notice for our annual dinner. From the outset, Laura was extremely accommodating and helpful. Upon arrival, we were seated in a separate area, which was greatly appreciated given the number of children in our group. The tables had been thoughtfully prepared with colouring pencils and children’s menus featuring activities, which was a wonderful touch and very well received by the children.nThe staff were attentive and professional throughout the evening, and the food was excellent. We truly appreciated the effort and care taken to ensure our experience was so enjoyable. We would highly recommend this restaurant and have certainly found our new venue for our annual family dinner.
Fantastic place to dine, our steaks were delicious, we had a 300g scotch filet and 200g eye fillet together with Cesar side salad and potato and kumera gratin. The steak was cooked perfectly med rare. I highly recommend this place to all.
we had the slow cooked porkbelly expecting something a lot different to what we had, it was really fatty and unenjoyable + instead of crackling we were given what we thought was dehydrated fat which was crispy by the looks but soft as it was placed onto the potato’s. The vegetable serving was very small 3 pieces of broccolini and the potatoes were ok but also tasted like instant mash.. the gravey tasted really watered down and didn’t have any flavour as well. Ontop of this not one server came over to check how our food was even though they were constantly walking past us. Pretty disappointed in the service and food quality as we were told that it was a great place. We will be spending our money elsewhere for dinner. Sorry guys but it was probably the worst service and food I’ve had in town since early last year
