Taimana Boutique Motel

We stayed here for a couple of nights in May with our little dog. The room was everything we needed and nicely decorated. Spacious with great bathroom and kitchen area although with the small cafe restaurant almost next door and the ferry on our doorstep we didn’t eat in.nQuiet location with great walks nearby and great hosts.nGoing back in July. Highly recommend this place.

Super relaxing stay, we had our dog with us and this suite was perfect! The room has everything you’d need for a short stay and it was cozy, warm and quiet. Beautiful views of the harbour, this place is a real gem. Rodney & Ann we’re great hosts and very helpful. We look forward to staying here again :

Rod and Ann's beautiful picturesque motel is like something that should be on a postcard. They made us feel more like family than guests. The room was perfect, and the view is stunning. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch.

A perfect little hide out with the loveliest owners Rodney, Ann and their charming dog.nThe room was very comfortable with a king size bed, wifi, large shower, fully equipped kitchen, clean and very quiet.nSitting outside at the entrance deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with the view over the harbour during the day in nature, was just amazing.nWould highly recommend this gem as it is only a 40min ferry away from the Christchurch CBD. Would be perfect for anyone looking to mountain bike, hike or even for a short getaway from the busy city life.nSmall but one delicious Cafe next door was a cherry on top Vegetarian friendly.nWould definitely come back anytime! We stayed here for a night and it was lovely - would happily come back again! The rooms are very well equipped, clean and tidy, with beautiful views of the harbour. Nice and close to the cafe, park and waterfront. Big luxe shower, and the bed has to be one of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in! The owners are really lovely too and we got to meet their very nice dog :-
