Taimana Boutique Motel

Had a fabulous stay here. Very comfortable and clean room, with all necessary amenities provided. Fantastic spot right next to the cafe and Diamond Harbour eatery, with easy access to the ferry and lots of walking tracks. Really loved being able to have our dog stay with us too.nThank you & we will be back!

Incredible getaway! The most beautiful accommodation, warm, cosy, wonderful hosts and an unbeatable location. The ferry was a short walk from the accommodation and for just $6 each way we were able to head over to Lyttleton for the day. However the best coffee in Christchurch is surely next door to the Taimana. Soulful Cafe - check it out. The Taimana was fabulous, what a great experience and stunning sunrise.

Beautiful room, kitchen, and bathroom in a lovely location in Diamond Harbour. Everything was perfect. To top it off Ann and Rodney are incredible hosts - they even rescued us from Christchurch after our car broke down!! Looking forward to staying again very soon.

Our family of four plus our golden retriever has a great night here. Such beautiful, clean, modern accommodation. Great views, amazing value and such great hosts. If you’re reading this thinking ‘should I stay there?’, stop thinking and just do it. You wont regret it!

We were thoroughly impressed with this boutique Motel in Diamond Harbour. The view from our room was beautiful and the room was so lovely. Ann and Rodney are fantastic hosts, and make you feel right at home in Diamond Harbour. The motel is right next to a great coffee shop and eatery, and is super close to the wharf/ferry. Our new favourite place to visit!
