Cranford Oak Motel

Very good location. From the outside the Motel looks well maintained. However the accommodation did not match. Cleaning was grossly below par. Shower was moldy, the nub of a previous guest's soap was left in the shower tray and the fridge was not cleaned. The Twin beds were clearly temporary beds set up to modify the unit from an accessible unit to a family unit. Saving grace was the bed linen was fresh and clean as were the towels. With a lot more care and maintenance this could be a good place to stay.

Clean tidy room with a good sized bathroom. Television impossible to use - stuck on one channel - no written instructions in the room and all instructions on the television were in French. But worst of all - it was freezing!!!! No heating on when I arrived at 5.30pm - temp was 4 degrees. 2 wall heaters - one didn't work and the other took until 9pm before it heated up the room. I was in bed fully clothed with my big coat, scarf and socks on just to stay warm. I will never stay there again.
