Garden City Motel

The service was impeccable, and the rooms were exceptionally clean with comfortable beds. I was pleased to find out that they allowed me to bring my small elderly dog along with me. However, there were a couple of minor issues that could be improved upon. Firstly, the fridge in the room was quite loud, which was a bit of a nuisance when trying to sleep. Additionally, the paint on the bathroom ceiling could use some attention. Despite these small drawbacks, my overall experience was lovely and the stay was very comfortable in every other aspect.

Lovely dog friendly motel. Beautiful owners. Spacious rooms and well equipped. Quiet warm and comfortable. Great value. Sky TV and excellent Wi-Fi. Highly recommend.

2 day trip from Hamilton moving to Christchurch to start new job. New company Lucino benchtops put us up in this place because we had a dog and I was so greatful for garden city hotel after a long trip we were able to have peace of mind because we have our dog with us and the owner was super excepting and helpful love this place to bits was great to just relax thank you garden city was my first contact to Christchurch and didn't disappoint God bless you guys

Just spent 5 nights in these motels.They were spacious and comfortable,ideally situated,on a busy road but,very quiet especially at night,Owners went above and beyond to meet my needs,and best of all I was able to have my big Labrador dog ,Sonny with me,who also had a ball checking out the arriving visitors.

We stayed here because we were having our bathroom renovated, and it was just up the road from home. Lovely owners and staff. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. It's a bit dated but comfortable for the price. Definitely good for a weekend stay, close to malls and city. Bus stops right outside.
