Airport Gateway Motel

A fabulous oasis. Everything is lovely and clean and well appointed and comfortable.nA special shout out to Jackie who was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our room.nAlso Madi in the dining room was friendly, helpful and provided excellent and efficient service. The meals were great too!

Stayed here our first night in New Zealand, with myself arriving from Chicago and my wife meeting me after a work trip to Perth. Could not have been happier with how it worked out; shuttle pickup from the airport was easy, had lots of great tips about the local area from where to shop for groceries to where to find sweaters, and even offered to take us to pick up our rental car in the morning. Restaurant was great food at extremely reasonable pricing. Even had a friendly puppy at the front desk. Definitely plan to stay here again when we can get back for another trip!

The staff are amazing, friendly and accommodating.nThe airport shuttle service offered is handy for visitors who are flying in and out of Christchurch.nThe hotel also offer a lovely dinning experience.nAn added bonus, our room had a large tv ready to cast netflix to, it definitely helped us unwind after having a few eventful days.nI would highly recommend this hotel!nThank you for your hospitality :

Dined here 2 years ago. Had an evening meal at the restaurant this trip and was truly amazed at the quality and quantity of the food. The pulled beef burger is very highly commended and my wife loved the seafood chowder. Extremely satisfied, well worth the cost. Definitely will dine here again.

We stayed 1 night and found all aspects of the motel to be fantastic. The room was bigger than expected, well laid out and had everything we needed. The restaurants food was great along with the service. A little pricey maybe but not over the top. The staff here are fantastic, so helpful and polite.
