Raceway Motel

Although we booked for a 2 bedroom motel, only had one room for sleeping in for 4 people. Not nice.nAnd only one tiny piece of soap for 4 people.nAnd the light in the kitchen did not work and as we had to leave early in the morning, was very difficult to have breakfast.nOwner polite when we told him, but I don't think he really cared about our feedback.

Everything ok, we don’t expect room service. It was nice. Thank you! Shower good, kitchen ok for short stays. If you have problems with stairs ask for a room downstairs.nWe left early in the morning and left the key over the bed.nJust to be fixed, toilet sink have to be unblocked. It is not working properly. See you!

My wife and I stayed two nights in room 12 in March 2024. Clean and comfortable accommodation before and after our TranzAlpine train trip - an easy walk to Christchurch station.nnModest price, easy free parking, and friendly hosts. Thank you Kevin and June

Very friendly, helpful owners. Nothing is too much trouble. Clean tidy rooms. Great showers.

Have been coming here for nearly 30 years. Management are super friendly and always go out of their way to help. Being pet friendly as well meant I could take my fur baby with me when I was there 2 weeks ago. Within walking distance of Wolfbrook Arena and Westfield. Highly recommend this place
