Addington Stadium Motel

We arrived into Christchurch late at night after a very long journey, only to find our original motel was completely closed—even though they were aware we were arriving late. Stranded, tired, and soaked from the rain, we were incredibly lucky to find the Addington Motel.nnDespite the late hour just after midnight, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble—within minutes of arriving, they had us checked in and settled into a beautiful two-bedroom suite. The room was clean, spacious, and really comfortable—exactly what we needed after such a stressful evening.nnTo top it off, they even arranged a lift for us the next morning to the train station, which was a huge help and just another example of how kind and thoughtful the team were.nnWe were so grateful for their hospitality and care. It turned what could have been a nightmare experience into something really positive. Would absolutely recommend staying here—lovely people, great rooms, and genuinely above-and-beyond service.

I stayed in room 2, quite a few problems and a disappointing stay. There were broken tiles in the bathroom, the soap dispenser didn't work. The room was poorly designed with the window position being in the spray area of the shower. There was no bath plug so i had to use the sink plug and this got stuck - I had to use a knife to unblock it to drain my bath. The price for an old room of this quality was way too high. Next time I will use airbnb

Sadly the Wifi wasn't working in our room and they didn't fix. In this day an age we all know we need our WiFi to stay connected and watch TV so that was a real bummer!
