Bealey Quarter

I recently stayed at the Bealey Quarter Hotel and had a comfortable experience, thanks to the excellent beds and pillows. However, I encountered some areas for improvement. Upon arrival, I found the staff to be unwelcoming and their appearance somewhat untidy.nnTo enhance the overall experience, I suggest management focus on improving employee customer service skills. This could include training staff to provide a warm welcome, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure consistent courtesy throughout guests' stays.nnAside from this, I enjoyed my stay, and with improved customer service, the Bealey Quarter Hotel has the potential to exceed expectations.

We booked and stayed in one of the Courtyard rooms at Bealey Quarter. Got a fabulous deal of $130 per night for a room with 2 x king beds which suited my daughter and I perfectly. The rooms were equipped with generally everything you needed - although it would be great to have a small microwave in the rooms, rather than having to go and use the kitchen facilities. The rooms were really quiet most of the time, which pleasantly surprised me as there are alot of cars travelling up and down and people utilising the restaurant/bar. We did have a bad nights sleep on our second night as there were some people in the courtyard disturbing those in courtyard rooms with whatever they were doing out there at 2am until 4.45am! I am unsure if these people were staying there, or if they were people off the street mulling around, but this was particularly annoying being we had to be up at 6am for a flight. Other than that, there is a generous amount of parking onsite and around the area, and super close to town which is great. Really happy I chose to stay here, and will definitely be an option again.

Location is super handy, free car parking on site, rooms have everything you need and are super functional. Different types of accommodation available which I think is great. Have stayed here 3 times now and would definitely stay again. Great value for money I’d recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in and out were simple and quick and not too much noise around at night not even really from the street.nnLoved the heat pump!nnWe look forward to having Bealey Quarter as our regular accommodation when staying in Christchurch.

Was very disappointed with not only the room but the food ordered.nRoom was very small and not even a microwave. Only kettle, one teaspoon, mugs and glasses. No plates etc. Only sink was in bathroom and that was so high the five year old had to be lifted up and held over sink to clean hands etc. One adult had to stand on tip toes to clean teeth.nBE WARNED the tiny shower has an extremely dangerous slippery floor. If you don't throw a towel on the shower floor you risk having a terrible fall. How the owners have not addressed this problem is ludicrous.
