Christchurch Park Motel

Found the rooms very clean and well maintained, check in was easy and the location was incredibly peaceful. Might be a little different when Rugby season is in full swing. We didn't require any type of servicing for the room whilst we were there so very hard to mention the service. Staff we met were very pleasant and friendly. Would most definitely stay there again. Definitely need some form of transport whilst staying there as the shops and other amenities weren't that close, The peacefulness makes up for it though.

This is our go to when staying in Christchurch. With young kids, they are safe because when you open your front door you are in a secure courtyard, not right into the car park. Across the street there is also an awesome playground.nThe rooms are large and clean.nThe courtyard has aplenty of space, picnic tables and a BBQ. Perfect for family groups or sports teams.

My sister and I stayed 3 nights here recently. The outlook from the room was lovely and well maintained.nIt was quiet and reasonably priced.nThe units resembled cabins more than a motel. Also with a motel the rooms are serviced which was not the case here. The cleaners were visibly cleaning rooms but only as people left.nI messaged when we arrived that the couch was unusable as sunken in but had no response. It seemed that once we paid the money in advance as requested without seeing the unit there was no further contact.nThe shower was broken. It was impossible to have a warm shower, only cold or piping hot as the lever didn't operate as it should and the dial for temperature was loose and just went around and around. Disappointing especially when there for three days and nights.nWe will not be staying here again.nPs..I see the showers are mentioned in a few of the reviews. Some basic maintenance is much needed.

A friend and I stayed here for 6 nights. Staff were very responsive to contact regarding the built-up ice in the fridge. Housekeeping staff very amiable and friendly. It's a quiet place to stay. Buses are easy to access, as we don't enjoy driving around Christchurch! Too busy and confusing for us oldies! Spacious too.

Great accommodation nice layout, very clean, easy access to laundry equipment, very good location easy parking as well as easy walk to bus stop and last but far from least BEST staff very friendly and efficient, always going more than the extra mile for you . We stayed there three weeks and HIGHLY recommend this place.
