rooms were clean/hygenic and newly renovated looked like we were the first to stay, staff were friendly and helpful, and the premises had space for large campervan parking. cozy space and basic amenities provided. we were even kindly offered an upgrade! was a bit worried after reading other reviews but looks like they have definitely improved and we had nothing to worry about.

BEWARE, dont let the photos fool you! Very outdated, obviously needing renovated and our room wasnt clean. Cobwebs galore, spiders and webs in the corners of lounge and bedroom. Dirty light shades and windows. Wood surround on shower mouldy and bathroom so small, if your large would be very difficult to turn/move. Have to lean over sink to look in mirror! Can hear people upstairs. Should be 2 star. Plenty of motels in the area, so recommend you choose another. Only positive is the heater works and location. Travel to ChCh often but wont return to this place again.

The room we stayed in was in tired condition was not like the pictures when booking.nCutlery was dirty when we went to use it.nAlso noticed there was only a small mirror next to the sink, which was difficult to use.nnI dont think the stay was worth the money in comparison to other accommodations nearby.

Went with friends. The room was dirty, unhygienic and not as described. Spoke to the receptionist who advised she would upgrade for free for the second night. The owner, an older male of Asian descent came to our room and yelled, swore and almost hit one of the people here. Overall disgusting behavior. Do not recommend

BE AWARE!! WE HAD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!nI booked room for two nights, turned out there and there was a big group around 20 of them of gang member hanging around at car park, having BBQ, smoking cigarettes, staring at our camper van. We didn’t feel safe staying there and leaving our van there so asked them for a refund for the second night, but they refused it and changed us full price of $280. We didn’t stay any night, next day I got a text saying the room is no longer available because it was booked with another guest, but still charged us for that night. You shouldve kept the room if you’re charging us at least. Anyway I defiantly wouldn’t recommend this accomodation. Such a ripoff
