Sudima Lake Rotorua

Lovely location right by the lake, be prepared to really smell the sulfurous gases! It was an easy ten minute walk to the center of town. This is a family room, which had the three single beds in one room and a generous queen/king in the other. TVs in both rooms. Kitchen was part of the single bed room, so if you wanted to use it at night, whilst kids were asleep, that wouldn't work. Bathroom was good re hot water and nice towels, but ventilation system was poor. In general, the room was comfortable and warm there was centrally heated wall radiators, which was lovely. The windows opened to a courtyard area. Loud at night with people walking around the hallways, could hear kids crying and yelling in adjacent rooms. The buffet breakfast the next day was really worth it with loads of choices of hot and cold foods. Be sure to join the free Sudima membership before booking because the savings are good.

From the minuet I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. So very helpful. My daughter and I was there for the Rotorua Masquerade so was very convenient. Rooms were clean, well presented and we enjoyed our stay. Certainly will be back again soon.

Rooms were comfortable and clean.nThe staff were friendly and helpful.nGreat breakfast options huge variety.nDinner was Al La cart very little selection under cooked and not hot enough disappointing.nHand/body wash is a very strong perfume not good for sensitive skin.

Great buffet breakfast !!! Good stay , only there was no elevator so it might be difficult with cases . However , a really nice woman who worked there followed us to the stairs and helped us ! Thank you .nThe rooms were clean and modern, and had comfortable beds and a good TV .nThe bathtub was also great .nI had a few ants towards the end of my stay nOverall would recommend

Very clean and tidy.nLovely staff especially Sven.nNeed chairs outside for guests waiting for Taxi. Laundry opposite reception area looks rough. Needs a garden and some private fencing to hide the buckets.
