ibis Rotorua

Well located. Staff very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was good. Maybe it was the temperature outside, after taking the hot food to my table at the back of the restaurant , it was just warm. Preferred it could be hotter.nnRoom was clean, and well presented.

The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room is a little bit small. The slope for bathroom water drainage is poor and thus the bathroom is easily getting “flooded”. Guest laundry is free. People who stay in Ibis can get access to gym in Novotel, which is great.

The room was ok, the shower was very good, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the air conditioning was not working and therefore the room was very cold. We were provided with two heaters, but one of them was not working and the other was very noise. The fridge was also no working. The staff was very friendly and check in and check out were quick and easy.

Check in was very pleasant and when I had made an error regarding welcome drinks, staff were more than helpful in resolving in a very generous way. Clean, well looked after hotel which we have stayed in many times as its usually good value and easy to get to the town centre and lake.nAnother bonus is that guests can use facilties of sister hotel next door. Happy with how we were treated and no doubt we will return.

It was a short but pleasant stay. No milk in the fridge and the bathroom needs updating, but otherwise clean tidy room. Breakfast area is lovely and breakfast was pleasant. Great to be close to everything and parking is reasonable.
