JetPark Hotel Rotorua

We knew nothing about JetPark when we booked it. We were very happy when we found it was next to all essentials for a traveling family of 4. The supermarket, petrol station, liquor store and restaurants. Our stay was delightful. Amazing service. There was a dryer for our wet togs. Breakfast was wonderful. The price of the whole stay was very reasonable considering breakfast was included. The rooms were quiet. The heat pump was a bit loud but we enjoyed the noise as it sounded like an ocean. We were on level 1. Parking was great. There was a lift to our room for our suitcases and we used the stairs from then on. There was a kids play area inside for the little ones. Outside the pool kept our kids entertained and there was a trampoline. We live in Australia but if we ever came back, this is where we would stay

We were in need of a room last minute with our dog on Christmas Eve and were able to stay on one of the pet friendly rooms. It was lovely and clean. Nice beds and bathroom. Lovely touches for the pets, including a bed with blankets, bowls, treats and some kibble. There is also a nice area for “pet pit stops”. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast, which we thought had some great choices to eat, compared to other continental breakfasts we’ve had. The hotel is in a very central location, across from the supermarkets and mall area. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others needing accomodation with pets!

We got a free room upgrade which was very nice. There was a robe in the room but no slippers - I found that a bit odd. The staff was very friendly and explained everything at check in, the only thing we didn’t know was that we needed to bring a voucher to the breakfast we didn’t know about it and haven’t seen it as it was behind the card keys and we never took the second one out. This was however no problem, the lovely lady at the reception still pointed us towards breakfast and wrote our room number down.nnWhere I simply have to take some stars off is the breakfast. There was no coffee machine, but only little bags of instant coffee same as in the rooms; I have stayed in many hotels across the world and have never experienced this, especially not in a 4-star hotel. The food variety was definitely lacking and the quality as well will come to that later. The only bread available was toast bread. There was no sliced cheese. Sliced salami came in only two types. The salami is what I suspect to be the source of what I can only describe as food poisoning, as that is the only thing I have eaten throughout the day and my partner, who had no issues, hasn’t.nnAll in all I expected more for the price and the fact this is supposedly a 4-star hotel.

The staff were amazing. Gave us a late checkout time. We loved the pool and spa. Our dog was very spoiled. Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Lovely continental breakfast. The only thing the room could improve on was there were no kitchen facilities . Our room was close to the roadside and we're kept awake by people fighting on the street. But besides that it was a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend

We have just had two nights at JetPark and can't speak highly enough. They were extremely accommodating with our pets, the room was very nice with a comfortable bed and nice touches throughout. We made use of the handy pool and spa and enjoyed the delicious continental breakfast. Best of all were the super friendly staff who went above and beyond on any small request we had. Excellent value and a big bonus for it to be pet friendly. We will be back and would highly recommend JetPark to others. Thank you for our stay
