Millennium Hotel Rotorua

I had a fantastic stay at Millennium Hotel Rotorua and would happily give it a full 5 stars. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Rotorua and within easy walking distance of key attractions, restaurants, and the lake. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient.nnThe hotel itself has a great atmosphere, and the in-house bar was a real highlight. It’s a lovely spot to unwind in the evening with a well-made drink and a relaxed vibe after a day of sightseeing.nnThe rooms were clean, very comfortable beds, and well-appointed, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated how quiet and restful it was at night.nnWhat truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, thanks in particular to Joshua, who was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. He set the tone for the entire stay and made a great first impression.nnOverall, a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others visiting Rotorua.

We stayed at the Millennium last week and had a great stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were newly refurbished and a good size and the beds were really comfortable. We dined in at their restaurant and all enjoyed our meals. We had rooms on the fourth floor over looking the lovely garden area. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants. We usually stay at The Novotel but from now on will go to The Millennium- the room rates are better, the rooms of a higher quality and the overall feel is welcoming.

Great hotel, room service options are phenomenal. I had issues with the TV where not all channels were operational, and the wifi instructions are different from the instructions on the info provided upon arrival. Due to the challenges of the television, I would have hoped for technology to be able to cast my own shows to the TV, which was also not an option. The staff upon my asking for support were good and couldn’t do anything outside of what was happening! Room was clean and tidy. Good stay overall!

This place has it's share of negative reviews online. We found it perfectly fine and were glad of the laundry and the proximity to the Polynesian Spa and the ample parking. It was dead quiet, which was lovely. We also loved the built-in cubby style desk/luggage rack in the room, we'd not seen that before. We also LOVED the carving in the lobby at the stairs. You'll see alot of carvings, but make a point to really examine that one, it's one of the best! It's clean quiet and safe and fine. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants though, but that's true almost anywhere in town.

Stayed at the hotel for a conference. Staff are friendly and professional. Very helpful. We stayed on 5th floor which came with club access. Room faced the lake which was a treat to wake up to every morning.nHotel is located near a lot of amenities and places to eat and shop.nWas able to catch up on some laundry in the guest area on 1st floor.nConference staff were super attentive and helpful.nWould recommend as a place to stay.
