Millennium Hotel Rotorua

We stayed for two nights and I must say this hotel was the highlight of our trip. Rooms are reasonably priced but offer a lot more than others at this price point. Our room was clean and fresh, the bathroom was roomy, the shower was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful and the amenities are all good. My only small beef is the distance from reception to the rooms. While I was in Rotorua, I unfortunately fractured my ankle and it was then I wished I'd had a room closer to reception.

My partner and I stayed at the Millennium Hotel Rotorua for two nights in December 2025, and it was a great base for exploring everything the area has to offer. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, and although the hotel itself is a little older, the room felt modern and well refreshed. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep.nnWe visited during peak season, so the on-site parking was busy at times, but there is plenty of free street parking around the property, which made it completely stress-free. The location is also very convenient, with an easy walk into town for dinner and activities. Overall, we’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed in a Club room and absolutely loved the experience and service. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Particularly Norrie, our Club Host. Car parking was a breeze, with EV chargers readily available. We came here for a few days R&R after a comp, and we are already planning our next trip back.

Millennium is a wonderful place to stay but, more importantly, staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. We had the pleasure of enjoying the club facilities and were absolutely spoiled by our hosts: Carl welcomed us on our first day and Nori ensured we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Thank you so much gentlemen, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and enjoy your hospitality. Anyone coming to Rotorua would be well advised to invest in accommodation that allows them to meet you and enjoy the great experience you provide. Millennium is fortunate to have these terrific ambassadors.

We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back and stay. The receptionist was fabulous and went out of his way to help us w some bookings GopalnWe stayed in a room w a wooden hot tub which gave us access to the Clun Lounge. Well worth the extra cost! Norrie went out of his way to make us comfortable.
