Millennium Hotel Rotorua

We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back and stay. The receptionist was fabulous and went out of his way to help us w some bookings GopalnWe stayed in a room w a wooden hot tub which gave us access to the Clun Lounge. Well worth the extra cost! Norrie went out of his way to make us comfortable.

My partner and I stayed at the Millennium Hotel Rotorua for two nights in December 2025, and it was a great base for exploring everything the area has to offer. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, and although the hotel itself is a little older, the room felt modern and well refreshed. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep.nnWe visited during peak season, so the on-site parking was busy at times, but there is plenty of free street parking around the property, which made it completely stress-free. The location is also very convenient, with an easy walk into town for dinner and activities. Overall, we’d definitely recommend staying here.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights during a 2 week north island holiday. We opted for a room with the club lounge, and met the most wonderful host here called Norrie. He was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay and during the evening lounge session.nHe really made our stay and we will miss him when we check out.nWe hope we can meet him again if we return to Rotorua in the future

We recently stayed at the Millennium Hotel Rotorua.nIt is for our mini getaway.nnWe booked our king-size bedroom with breakfast. Our room looks out onto the courtyard, which features many well-maintained native plants and some nice outdoor seating.nnThe room is comfortable and clean. I appreciate the updated amenities, such as light-blocking curtains, soundproofing for the room, and efficient, quiet thermostats or air conditioning.nnThere is a water kettle, a mini fridge and a selection of tea bags in the room.nnThe swimming pool is clean and heated to around 29 degrees Celsius, a nice alternative to the typical hot spring temperature.nnThe breakfast room overlooks the outdoor heated pool area.nnOverall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a Club room and absolutely loved the experience and service. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Particularly Norrie, our Club Host. Car parking was a breeze, with EV chargers readily available. We came here for a few days R&R after a comp, and we are already planning our next trip back.
