Overall stay was good but did not live up to my expectations of the Pullman standard, especially when we booked for the top floor room deluxe executive room expecting high quality service. When we first arrived, the bed was not made properly leaving about 25cm of the mattress uncovered by the sheet under the pillows, and in the bathroom we had 2 normal sized bottles of shampoos, one was almost empty and the other was full, one normal conditioner, but one small tube of shower gel - about the size of 1/3 of a normal size toothpaste. I did not feel welcomed and looked after at all as the three of us were staying for 7 days, and I had to request for more shower gels. Welcoming us with an almost empty shampoo was also something I didn’t feel comfortable with. My 3 year old toddler eats crackers and the crumbs often fell on the floor but house keeping NEVER vacuumed, I had requested once for it to be vacuumed but can still see crumbs close to the edges of the floor. And without requesting there would be no vacuuming even when there were very visible big pieces of chips on the floor. One of the nights our neighbour ordered in room service meals and they left the leftovers outside as you would. The left over food was not removed until past mid day the day after, it was unpleasant to see and smell. All in all I did not feel like the quality of the service was good, but other than that, the stay was good, nice room and view and the staffs were friendly.nnWe travel quite a bit and have lived in numerous different hotels and this was truly the first time for us to have an unpleasant experience about a hotel with high reputation. A bit disappointed.
It started with the warmth of every single staff member, happy to help with everything. As a platinum member it was a wonderful experience receiving the gold card with the absence of a lounge. Valet parking was exceptional and prompt. The room was gorgeous with a comfy bed and amazing rain water shower to wash away the thermal mud.nnIf I could give this rating an 11 out of 10 I would
We really enjoyed our two-day stay. During check-in, we encountered a minor issue: the interconnecting room we booked couldn’t be locked with the key provided and the king bed hadn’t been split into two single beds as we had requested in advance. However, the staff made every effort to resolve the problem, so it wasn’t a major concern.nThe rooms with lake view were exceptionally clean, spacious, and the staff were very friendly!
Two very comfortable nights in a king room with lake view. Found our room to be very spacious, well appointed, loved the bathroom with a separate toilet with door and the bed and pillows were perfect for a good nights sleep.nLocation is great and lovely walk to the lake. Parking is around 50 a night if you use valet but we found it easy to get parking in the street out front both nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful.nOnly slight complaint was the coffees downstairs - all of us found them very weak and hard to drink.
My husband and I had the opportunity to spend 2 nights in a suite. I loved the welcome and the gold card which gave access to drinks and canapés.directly from the bar. The staff in all areas were professional and courteous. When we were leaving our room prior to checking out a member of the house staff asked if she could assist and then pressed the lift for us. This type of service and goodwill results in us wanting to return. The meals at night in the restaurant were delicious and a huge selection of dishes. The location of the hotel is ideal - close to everything. We used outside parking and some areas free parking which suited us as we were out most days exploring. Overall 5 star hotel with 5 star service
