A very luxurious hotel. The staff were fantastic. Buffet breakfasts were second to none. The only issue was the heat of the room. Despite keeping the curtains closed, and air con on lowest it was still incredibly uncomfortably hot. I'm not sure the air con was working properly. When I asked about it they were very polite and sent someone up who just offered us a fan and changed the filter. Reading other feedback it seems this issue has been ongoing for some time. I feel bad for staff as they can't do anything about it without management revamping the air con I think. Because of this though, I don't think I could stay there again. Only because of the room heat. My paw paw ointment was melted the whole time we stayed there, that's how hot it was.
My partner and I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, every staff member was warm, attentive, and professional. The hotel, is beautifully designed and a luxurious ambiance throughout. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered great city/lake views. Parking was a little difficult but no fault of the Pullman. Thank you!!
The hotel foyer was lively with reception staff seeing to their guests needs as well as guests already enjoying their drinks in the bar area adjacent. We were efficiently checked in by the lovely Violet. Our room with a limited “lake view” was warm, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was relaxed, staff were attentive, and the selection was very satisfactory. Everything was freshly cooked, including the fried eggs. The espresso machine needs some maintenance as it was not making flat whites when we came to use it.
Located near and with views of Lake Rotorua this modern hotel offers international style and conveniences. Our spacious modern room had a lake view. Some reviews mention an unusual bathroom, which we found perfectly acceptablenHighly Recommended
The Pullman Rotorua is a sanctuary once you enter the doors of the hotel from the street.nnIt was a treat to getaway for a night in Rotorua and stay at The Pullman. We love the room, the layout, the amenities and the welcome treats. You can also fill a carafe of sparkling water from the bar to have in your room, as well as the milk dispensing machine for your tea/coffee.nnThe food and service is always exceptional at the hotel. We chose to dine in for lunch and dinner at Barrel & Co the in-house bar and restaurant. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
