Pullman Rotorua

We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman. The staff were exceptional. They are helpful and genuine. The restaurant was fantastic. Every meal was delicious including the buffet on Christmas day which was a la carte quality. The view from the large windows in the room was lovely. Thank you for making our time ao enjoyable.

Experience was OK. Room was comfortable, not particulary big but ok. We really did not like the bathroom layout at all and probably would not return because of that. Thought having a tap in reception to fill the water carafe was pretty crap too as no water bottles in room.

Loved the location- it's close to cafes and the lake. Our room was big, clean spacious and had nice shampoo, conditioner and shower wash. Nice touch having fruit in the gym. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was so tasty - I got the snapper and had the caramel dessert - will definitely stay again.

I will keep this brief -- the rooms and the service are terrible. The rooms are odd -- you enter the room through the bathroom and then walk into a dark, dated, triangular room. My room was at eye-level with an office building about 50 feet away. While sitting on the toilet in my room, I had direct line of sight with office workers across the street. The television service is spotty, and the uncomfortable foam pillows are worthless.nnThe service in the hotel restaurant is just plain bad. Even though I dined there late in the evening, and there were very few customers, I watched my food sit for 10 minutes waiting to be picked up and delivered to my table. Dirty dishes sat on the unoccupied tables next to me for the duration of our meal. The staff seems untrained and in no hurry to provide basic service.nnI would never stay at this hotel or any Pullman hotel again.

Booked for the wife’s birthday, arrived charged an extra $100 for booking online , then informed that breakfast was extra valet parking $60for someone to park your car 15 metres away. Room was very clean lake view with binoculars, a red wine and half a lager $40 since no privacy when your on the toilet unless you enjoy your partners shadow peeing, so went down 8 floors to reception toilets for relief . So all in all $500, staff really nice but won’t be staying here again .
