Rotorua Motor Lodge

This is the worst motel we experienced. The beds are too soft. The room is not clean. There are ants in the kitchen. For me, the important stuff is the hairdryer. There is no hairdryer. Luckily, I brought myself one,but I can't use it in the bathroom. The plugs are just for shavers. ..... Never come again.Rooms: 1/5

This place is a complete and utter dump. THere is no way in which any reasonable person would consider staying there. The photographs are bait and switch and the reality is that the room is disgusting. Furniture torn. Bed was literally a skungy blanket Microwave was rotting with rust everywhere Floors were filthy It hadnt been cleaned in forever. Never ever ever consider going to this place.

Absolutely one of the worst motels ever. Needs a good clean, mould in bathroom and ceilings. No cooking facilities at all and not worth $100 a night let alone the $200 they charge. Don't go there!!!Rooms: 1/5

Very spacious, but cold. Plug sockets were faulty. T.v not secure. Lots of condensation on the windows. Out dated bathroom facility's. Toilet stained. Showers Mouldy and grimey also wooden shower frames rotten. No Toilet paper was available. We brought our own. Cleaners did not do a good job in my opinion. On arrival to our room given it had existing rubbish left behind.

Unfortunately there is no zero star option... Health Department have been contacted. So thank you to those who reviewed honestly, all will count towards the argument. Absolutely the most ridiculously discusting place ive ever seen. I am a housekeeper in Napier, not in my wildest nightmare would i ever leave, or turn a blind eye to a dirty dish or a stain on the douvet. People pay good hard earned money to go on holiday. Whatever the price, the room should be of safe and sanitary standard.

Beds were so comfortable and sheets, towels etc were fresh and clean. Just the mold is a bit excessive and place needs a good deep clean but was happy in the end.Rooms: 3/5

I know that this is a place to stay on a budget. But I expect the rooms to be clean and the beds to be comfortable. They were not. I won't be back.Rooms: 1/5

I went to rotorua so many times, this one is the most terrible motel, i spend 195 a night, the room is so old, leaking toilet whole night, sometimes has water sometimes not, terrible microwave, kitchen.Rooms: 1/5

Good rooms they only cleaned one bed though great for a quick holiday near a geothermal feature good if you like themRooms: 4/5

Would not recommend staying here, rooms were very outdated dingey and dark.. woken by domestic violence and noisey traffic.. staff were absolutely rude.Rooms: 1/5
