Rotorua Motel

Understand this is a low cost motel however the room was very dirty including mold in the shower and bath. Bed was big but very uncomfortable and could feel the springs on my back. Pillows also had stains on them. Staff were nice and outdoor spa pool was clean. Would not stay here again unless the room has had a good clean.Rooms: 1/5

We stayed here for 5 nights. I would say I feel it has more potential. It does have everything needed, basic kitchen facilities. However it’s quite basic. Cleanliness is lacking. Mould in obvious places in bathroom, dishes needed to be checked from previous cm. They did have staff who did regular service but would always miss a lot of messy places. The host was nice. But definitely think it has more potential, staff needs to check that the place is thoroughly cleaned before next guest arrive.

Dirty Room , customer service very bad, don’t talk politely will not suggest people to stay here . Stains on the sheets . When call to complain the Asian lady was very rude. Also when booked did mention that will be late as was driving from Auckland she said wasn’t her problem. 1st and last time ever coming to this place .Rooms: 1/5

Not as bad as some reviews make it out to be. The host was very friendly & accommodating. The rooms my family and I were in, were clean & tidy. The spa was nice too, especially during these cooler winter nights. The only little downside was the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils & cutlery - these need to be checked by staff and cleaned more thoroughly before the next guests check-in. Overall, it was a nice comfortable stay

Do NOT stay here if you want a clean space. Arrived and repacked our car after less than an hour. Cockroaches, mould and grime through the bathroom, bugs in the bed and generally run down and dirty. Manager of the facility at the time was very helpful with us cancelling our stay and working on a refund... Although we are still waiting for that to come through.

Motel room was nice and comfortable. This motel is excellent location to the central shops. The motel office has lots of information on activities to do in Rotorua. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit run down and a little dirty. In addition, they serviced our room by giving us more towels and milk but they did not make the bed.Rooms: 2/5

Not great. Cockroaches all through the kitchen. Have photos of them. We found the first one just after 10pm so didn't have much choice but to stay there. When we advised the receptionist about them, offering to show photos at the times they were taken in hopes of a refund we just got told, they come in in the cold I'll go and check it out. We had already gassed the kitchen with fly spray in hopes they wouldn't make it into the bedroom with us. Just a dirty feeling after that and a refund would've been a nice gesture.

This was an ok stay, was disappointed with the crockery and utensils, these were not clean and the dish brush and potmit were mouldy, car parking was ok but very tight to get in and out. Ok stay for overnight.Rooms: 3/5

Friendly staff, warm comfortable room. Had everything we needed. Great location. Easy walk to shops. Highly recommend. Thank you and God bless.Rooms: 5/5
