I am grateful as a Papakura-ite to have handy access to a Farmer's store. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We as a community need to be mindful of supporting local shops if we want to keep them around.
Unfortunately, the lady with the long black hair, standing next to the entrance on Great South Road is unrepresentative of the NZ Farmer's brand of fabulous, friendly service - and because of her uncaring and culturally dismissive attitude - I score her and some members of her cohort a lowly, one out of five.nnHere are my suggestions to Farmer's Papakura Store Management, to bring back the great service that Farmer's is usually renowned for.nnFirstly, the woman with the long black hair and the woman with the blonde hair both need to re-train on 'culturally inclusive practice', learning how to say 'kia ora' and try smiling at your customers when they enter the store - rather than looking down on customers. I feel this will greatly enhance the customer's experience and also help the staff to have an improved day as well.nnSecondly, I suggest some English classes for the two women with long black hair, learning some basic English words like 'petticoat' or 'slip' - and as I said before, it costs nothing to smile.nnLastly, If you do not understand what the customer is saying, please do not gang up on customers and permit them to tell lies, like 'We don't have petticoats'. Imagine my disdain, when I helped my relative find the perfect petticoat and slip for her. special thanks to the two nice ladies at the service counter - who stepped up to help us.nnFarmer's Papakura Management team - some of your staff are bullies and worse, they are lying to paying customers. In the existing cost of living financial crisis, these staff could have turned us away, resulting in lost revenue for the store.nnIn sum, I did not enjoy shopping in the Farmer's Papakura store on this occasion - due to the woman with long black hair's dismissive approach, and her buddies ganging up and lying to me and my elderly auntie.nnBefore you go, If you found this review helpful, please click like and don't forget to follow me on Google Maps @localguideEunice. I highlight the sublime and not-so-sublime goods and services available to us public.
great customer service from all the staff here.
Friendly staff and always have plenty of items in stock. Nice and tidy too.
Excellent service here folksnI was greeted by a lovely man at the front door this morning and with a big welcoming smile.nI purchased a gift card from Shileni, and man, she was just so bubbly . Left that store very happy .
