Best Western Newmarket Inn & Suites

The hotel was renovated last year and it's very new and spotlessly clean. The location is convenient for travel. The breakfast is delicious, especially the boss's homemade pudding is incrediblely amazing. But what stood out the most was the amazing service from the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay.

I had a great stay. Rooms were clean and tidy with everything I needed. Staff were super helpful. It was located in the perfect spot for what I was doing.

Just realized I should have taken the photos before eating…but anyways, that mashed taro cream caramel pudding was sooooooooo good, like it’s smooth and texturally balanced, just the right sweetness for my breakfast. There’s warm food like bacon, sausage, hash browns, roasted veggies etc. fruit salad is looking fresh, must have been chopped on early morning.

After a long flight to New Zealand, I was happy to be offered a quiet, comfortable room in their new building at the back of the property. It was spotlessly clean, modern and had a small kitchenette with dinnerware, etc. I liked the fresh air coming in the windows. Breakfast was amazing, with healthy, fresh food, plus homemade cookies to go with their espresso. The owner is lovely. The location is great because it’s an easy walk to Newmarket, where visitors can find all kinds of shopping, banking, hair salons, lots of different cuisine, plus public transportation. If you don’t feel like walking, you can catch a bus across the street or take Uber. No services or products were exchanged or offered for this review, as usual.

I was in an older room. It was pretty average. I was expecting a king size bed as was advertised, not just two singles pushed together which is much less comfortable. The ‘kitchenette’ did not include a kitchen sink or a stove-top. It would have been nice to have a bedside table on both sides of the bed.nApart from that, the location is convenient and the staff are helpful. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
